Le fourgon électrique Kia PV7 en essai routier : commercialisation prévue pour 2027, dimensions bien supérieures à celles du PV5

Kia's new PV7 electric van has been spotted on the streets of South Korea, generating considerable interest. The second production model based on Kia 's PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) platform , the PV7 will be officially launched in 2027 and will be positioned as a larger, all-electric van than the currently available PV5, intended for both commercial and multipurpose use.

The latest road test videos reveal a particularly imposing vehicle: its wheelbase almost entirely covers a speed bump, and when parked on a car carrier trailer, it even appears to shrink the size of the truck transporting it. Based on the footage, this model seems not only significantly longer but also wider, which will allow for a considerably larger interior space for cargo and passengers. Aesthetically, the PV7 is expected to be equipped with two charging ports: one at the front, in line with the PV5's layout, and the other likely concealed near the rear passenger side door.

Compared to the PV7 concept presented at CES 2024, its announced dimensions are 5,270 mm long, 2,065 mm wide, and 2,120 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,390 mm; while the current PV5 Passenger measures 4,695 × 2,895 × 1,915 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,995 mm—confirming significant gains in both length and wheelbase. Regarding the intelligent cockpit system , rumors suggest possible integration of the Pleos software and the Hyundai Group's multimedia system , but no official confirmation has yet been released.

According to the planned schedule, Kia will launch an even larger model, the PV9, in 2029, and aims for cumulative sales of 232,000 units for the entire PBV range by 2030.
