起亚PV7电动厢式车路试曝光:2027年上市,尺寸远超PV5

Kia's all-new electric van, the PV7, has been spotted on the streets of South Korea, attracting widespread attention. As the second mass-produced model on Kia's PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) platform, the PV7 will be officially launched in 2027, positioned as a larger all-electric commercial and multi-purpose van than the currently sold PV5.

The latest road test video shows that the PV7 is massive—its wheelbase almost spans the entire speed bump, making the trucks it carries appear exceptionally small when parked on a delivery platform. Based on eyewitness footage, the vehicle is not only noticeably longer but also wider, significantly expanding its interior loading and passenger space. In terms of appearance, the PV7 appears to be equipped with dual charging ports: the front continues the layout of the PV5 , while another appears to be hidden near the rear passenger door.

Referring to the PV7 Concept unveiled at CES 2024, its dimensions are 5270mm in length, 2065mm in width, and 2120mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3390mm; while the current PV5 Passenger measures 4695mm × 2895mm × 1915mm, with a wheelbase of 2995mm—clearly, the PV7 represents a significant increase in both length and wheelbase. As for the intelligent cockpit system, there are currently only rumors that it may feature Hyundai 's Pleos software and infotainment system, with no official confirmation yet.

According to the plan, Kia will launch the larger PV9 in 2029 and strive to achieve a cumulative sales volume of 232,000 PBV series vehicles by 2030.
