DENZA Z9 GT Pre-orders Start in China from RMB 680,000; 0–100 km/h in as fast as 1.96 Seconds

Tri-motor, all-wheel-drive pure-electric GT sports car opens pre-orders; set for Q4 2026 launch

On July 13, DENZA officially launched pre-orders in China for its all-new pure-electric GT sports car — the DENZA Z9 GT. Three variants are offered: Coupe (hardtop), Spider (convertible), and Racing (track-focused), with pre-order prices ranging from RMB 680,000 to RMB 1,180,000. The vehicle previously debuted in the UK at a price equivalent to approximately RMB 1.58 million and is scheduled for official domestic launch in Q4 2026.

Design & Structure: Low-slung Wide-body + Carbon-fiber Cage Body

The DENZA Z9 GT adopts the 'Pure Emotion — Flowing Form' design language, featuring a closed front fascia paired with blade-style LED droplet-shaped headlights. The hood integrates three-dimensional air ducts, while laser radars are embedded in the front bumper's side intakes. Side skirts feature aerodynamic vanes and airflow channels. Dimensions for the Coupe and Racing variants are 4,870 × 1,990 × 1,350 mm; the Spider measures 4,780 × 1,990 × 1,350 mm; all share a uniform wheelbase of 2,780 mm. Standard equipment includes 20- or 21-inch sport wheels, optional multi-color brake calipers, and a carbon-fiber composite cage body structure matched with multi-piston ceramic ventilated brakes.

Performance & Range: Tri-motor AWD, Top Speed up to 350 km/h

The vehicle is powered by the BYD Yi San Fang intelligent vehicle control platform, using a front-single/rear-dual tri-motor independent AWD layout delivering a combined peak output of 1,180 kW (1,605 hp). Official figures show: Coupe achieves 0–100 km/h in 2.25 seconds; Spider in 2.3 seconds; Racing in just 1.96 seconds. Top speeds are 300 km/h (Coupe & Spider) and 350 km/h (Racing). All variants feature a flat-laid 102 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade Battery, offering nearly 600 km WLTP range and standard 800V high-voltage fast charging.

Intelligence & Chassis Control: Tian Shen Zhi Yan 5.0 + DiSus-M System

For ADAS, the full lineup comes standard with the Tian Shen Zhi Yan 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system — optimized for low-center-of-gravity, high-speed sports car dynamics — with perception algorithms fine-tuned for stability and responsiveness. Features include highway NOA navigation-assisted driving, full-scenario automatic parking, and remote trace-reversal parking. AEB active emergency braking operates across the full 0–130 km/h speed range. Underpinning the chassis is the DiSus-M intelligent body control system, enabling millisecond-level adaptive damping adjustment and, together with a fully steer-by-wire setup, actively correcting vehicle trajectory during extreme maneuvers to enhance high-speed stability.
