On June 8, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD’s Dynasty Network, officially unveiled the official images of the all-new D-class flagship sedan — the BYD Da Han — via social media. As the first D-class sedan in the Dynasty Network lineup, the Da Han marks BYD’s strategic upgrade in the premium sedan segment and serves as a major evolution of the ‘Han’-named vehicle family following the original BYD Han.

Evolved Dragon Face Design, Commanding D-Class Presence
The new model retains BYD’s signature ‘Dragon Face’ design language while reimagining it specifically for the D-class segment: the front features a low-slung, wide-body layout, with horizontal chrome trim and a full-width LED light bar enhancing visual width; its elongated proportions and fastback silhouette strike a refined yet powerful flagship stance; the rear adopts a broad, muscular profile with a floating spoiler and贯穿-style taillights — delivering both gravitas and cutting-edge tech appeal.

Dual Powertrains: Blade Battery 2.0 + Flash Charging Technology
The Da Han will launch simultaneously with plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants to meet diverse user needs. All versions feature BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and integrate the automaker’s latest Flash Charging technology. Official data shows: the AWD variant achieves up to 880 km CLTC combined range, while the RWD version pushes further to 1,008 km — setting a new range benchmark for Dynasty Network sedans and underscoring significant advances in BYD’s tri-power system integration and energy efficiency management.

Strategic Significance Extends Beyond the Product
Unlike conventional model updates, the Da Han carries a pivotal mission: elevating the Dynasty Network into the premium tier. Amid expanding demand for intelligent, electrified flagship sedans in China’s D-class market in 2026, the Da Han not only completes the Dynasty Network’s full ‘A/B/C/D’ sedan matrix but also aims to compete globally as a technological benchmark in the high-end NEV sedan segment. Notably, BYD has yet to announce the official launch date or pricing — the vehicle remains in the pre-launch phase, focused on brand image rollout.
