DENZA N8L Pure Electric Version Launches: From ¥299,800, 960 km Range + 208L Frunk

Equipped with 130.15 kWh Blade Battery and 800V Fast-Charging Platform, Targeting the Premium Six-Seat Smart SUV Segment

On September 14, the pure electric version of the DENZA N8L officially launched, offering two trims priced from ¥299,800 to ¥329,800. As a new powertrain variant in the DENZA N8L lineup, it retains the plug-in hybrid version's design language and premium features while significantly enhancing all-electric driving capability — delivering a CLTC-rated range of 960 km and featuring a 208L power-operated frunk to further expand practicality.

DENZA N8L Pure Electric Version in Urban Driving Scenario

Exterior styling carries forward the DENZA family's distinctive "Chinese character 'Men' (Gate)" front fascia; the front bumper integrates active air intakes, and five new exterior colors — including Golden Luster Black and Winter Green — are now available. Dimensions measure 5200 × 1999 × 1820 mm, with a wheelbase of 3075 mm and an ultra-low drag coefficient of just 0.252. LiDAR is standard across all trims, enabling the Tiangod's Eye 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system — covering highway NOA, urban NOA, full-scenario automatic parking, and automated lane changes, with official fallback support for urban autonomous driving.

The interior maintains flagship-level equipment: a 50-inch AR-HUD, 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 17.3-inch central touchscreen, 13.2-inch front passenger entertainment display, 17.3-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, and a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror are all standard. It runs the 'Didi Xia' super intelligent agent, supporting continuous whole-vehicle voice commands and multimodal interaction. Seating adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with NAPPA leather 'Yunqi' seats standard across all trims; heating, ventilation, and massage functions are fitted for both front and second-row seats. The front passenger seat features a zero-gravity 'Queen Seat' with adjustable leg rest, while the third row includes heating as standard. Additional highlights include a 20-speaker Devialet audio system, an 11L vehicle-mounted thermo-electric refrigerator, foldable rear-seat tables, intelligent ambient fragrance, and multi-layer acoustic privacy glass throughout.

Powertrain-wise, the vehicle is built on an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform and equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery (130.15 kWh), adopting a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout delivering peak output of 370 kW and a CLTC all-electric range of 960 km. The chassis features the DiSus-A Intelligent Air Body Control System, CDC adaptive dampers, Road Preview 2.0, and ±10° rear-wheel steering — balancing ride comfort and dynamic responsiveness.

Notably, the DENZA N8L pure electric version complements the existing plug-in hybrid model (priced ¥299,800–¥349,800 across four trims), forming a dual-powertrain strategy. Both share identical styling, cabin space, smart cockpit features, and ADAS capabilities — the key differences lie in their electric powertrain architecture and refueling logic: the EV prioritizes ultra-long range and high-efficiency 800V fast charging, while the PHEV emphasizes overall energy efficiency and range anxiety-free versatility. Within the 'Series 8' premium six-seat pure electric SUV segment, its primary competitor is NIO ES8 — setting up a strategic rivalry between competing approaches: 'fast-charging technology' versus 'battery-swapping solutions'.
