Volvo EX60 Begins First Customer Deliveries: 503-Mile Range, 340 km in 10 Minutes

Volvo EX60 has officially begun first customer deliveries, marking the launch of the brand's debut mid-size battery electric SUV. The initial batch was handed over to local customers in Sweden this Thursday, with production ramp-up and broader delivery rollout scheduled over the coming weeks and months.

As Volvo's first model built on the all-new SPA3 dedicated EV platform, the EX60 is officially dubbed "a pivotal step in the brand's transformation." Following its global debut in January, Volvo explicitly positioned the EX60 as a strategic product to enter the world's largest EV segment — the mid-size BEV SUV market.

The EX60 features an 800V high-voltage electrical architecture, delivering up to 503 miles (810 km) of WLTP range and 400 miles under EPA testing. Leveraging its 400 kW ultra-fast charging capability, it can replenish up to 340 km (211 miles) of range in just 10 minutes; charging from 10% to 80% takes only 16 minutes (19 minutes for the P12 AWD variant).

Three powertrain configurations are offered: rear-wheel-drive P6, dual-motor all-wheel-drive P10 AWD, and high-performance P12 AWD. The P6 uses an 83 kWh battery pack and delivers 307 miles of EPA range; the P10 AWD packs 95 kWh and achieves 322 miles; the top-tier P12 AWD features a 117 kWh battery and reaches 400 miles under EPA testing. All variants come standard with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, enabling direct plug-in access to Tesla's Supercharger network — no adapter required.

In Germany, the EX60 P6 Plus starts at €54,328 (approx. $62,200), offering 611 km WLTP range; the P10 AWD and P12 AWD start at €56,849 ($65,000) and €61,891 ($70,900), respectively, with WLTP ranges of 660 km and 810 km. In the U.S., the EX60 starts at $58,400 (excluding a $1,395 destination fee), available in Plus and Ultra trim levels.

As Volvo's first production vehicle natively supporting the NACS port, the EX60 also debuts Google Built-In infotainment and the Gemini AI voice assistant. Standard equipment includes Pilot Assist driver assistance and the Safe Space safety suite. The Ultra trim adds ventilated Nappa leather seats, a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, and an electrochromic panoramic sunroof.
