DENZA Z — the first all-electric supercar from DENZA, the premium brand under BYD — debuted globally on July 9, 2026, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK and simultaneously launched pre-orders in the UK market. According to DENZA, global pre-order demand is "robust," with orders exceeding 1,000 units within just five days.

Built on BYD's fully in-house-developed e3 pure-electric platform, the vehicle features the world's first intelligent triple-motor torque vectoring control system. All variants come standard with three motors, delivering a combined peak output of 1,582 hp (1,604 PS) and peak torque of 1,240 N·m. The Racing variant, equipped with semi-slick tires, achieves 0–100 km/h in just 1.96 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h; the Coupe and Spider variants achieve 2.25 and 2.30 seconds respectively.
DENZA Z adopts an 800V high-voltage architecture and BYD's Flash fast-charging technology, paired with a 76 kWh Blade Battery 2.0 — enabling a 10% to 97% state-of-charge recharge in only 9 minutes. WLTP-rated range stands at 410 km for the Coupe, 400 km for the Spider, and 380 km for the Racing variant.
The car measures 4,780 mm × 1,990 mm × 1,350 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,780 mm — slightly longer than Porsche 911. The cabin features an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen (with built-in Google services). The steering wheel integrates six physical buttons for switching driving modes including Track and Boost. Audio systems include 12 speakers for the Coupe and Racing variants, and 10 for the Spider — some speakers integrated into the headrests.
Pricing starts at £142,900 (approx. $192,000 USD) in the UK and RMB 680,000 (approx. $100,000 USD) in China. The Spider and Racing variants are priced at RMB 780,000 and RMB 1,180,000 respectively in China. DENZA states that "sales performance is strong" across all versions, with first deliveries expected by the end of 2026.
Notably, DENZA Z is the first model on BYD's e3 platform to feature full-by-wire steering and the DiSus-M intelligent electromagnetic damping system — claimed to adjust damping characteristics in milliseconds in response to magnetic field changes. Further pre-order launches in additional overseas markets are planned, potentially extending into 2027.
