DENZA Automobile recently launched a new exclusive 'Dark Gold' exterior color option for the second-generation DENZA D9 MPV. USD 4,415), available for selection starting immediately.

According to official information, the Dark Gold Edition features a deep matte-black body as its base, complemented by high-gloss gold trim strips, a shield-shaped front grille, a genuine-gold-plated brand emblem, and black multi-spoke wheels (with gold center caps). The rear includes a full-width taillight and a horizontal gold accent strip, with additional gold detailing on the rear spoiler and rear bumper. All badges — except the 'Flash Charging' logo, which remains silver to emphasize its technological identity — are finished in black, collectively enhancing the vehicle's premium feel and visual distinctiveness.

The second-generation DENZA D9 officially launched in the Chinese market on May 1, 2026, with a price range of RMB 359,800–469,800; deliveries began on May 7. According to China EV DataTracker, cumulative domestic deliveries had reached 6,145 units as of press time. With the addition of the Dark Gold option, the top-tier trim's final retail price has risen to RMB 499,800 (approx. USD 73,540).

Powertrain options include battery electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The BEV version offers both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations: FWD delivers a maximum power output of 340 kW (456 hp), while AWD achieves a combined peak power of 410 kW (550 hp); both use a 115 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, supporting 10%–97% state-of-charge fast charging in just nine minutes, with a CLTC all-electric range of 750–800 km. The PHEV variant pairs a 1.5T engine (115 kW / 154 hp) with either a single front motor (200 kW / 268 hp) or an additional rear motor (45 kW / 60 hp) for AWD. It features a 66.5 kWh battery and delivers a CLTC all-electric range of up to 400 km — also supporting flash charging technology.
