On July 16, Li Auto officially launched the 2026 model of Li L6, offering a single variant — the Ultra Edition — with a manufacturer-suggested retail price of ¥249,800. Positioned as a mid-to-large-size extended-range electric SUV, this is a mid-cycle refresh of the current L6, with multiple core configurations and hardware specs upgraded to match those of the flagship Li L9 — marking a new phase in Li's technology trickle-down strategy.
Exterior design draws heavily from the all-new Li L9 language: the star-ring lighting signature remains, while the central active grille is no longer connected to the split headlights — delivering sharper, more assertive lines. Standard features include ADB matrix headlights and auxiliary driving 'blue indicator lights'. The roof-mounted forward-facing LiDAR is retained, and for the first time, a quad-LiDAR layout is introduced — two additional side-facing units mounted on the front fenders and one rear-facing unit to enhance omnidirectional perception. Dimensions measure 4,935 × 1,960 × 1,735 mm, with a 2,920 mm wheelbase — 10 mm longer than the current model. Minimum ground clearance is 180 mm; 20-inch wheels come standard, with 21-inch wheels available (+¥10,000). Seven exterior colors are offered — including Dune Yellow and Wind Signal Purple — with the first four as optional paints (+¥6,000), plus an Obsidian Black Sport Package (+¥2,000).
Inside, the vehicle features a 29-inch, 6K borderless panoramic display supporting driver-only, passenger-only, or shared viewing modes; in Park (P) mode, it can play ultra-widescreen 21:9 movies. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cockpit chip — CPU performance up 1.8×, GPU compute power up 2.6×, and NPU compute power up 3.5× versus the previous generation. Standard audio is a 19-speaker Platinum Sound System; an optional second-row entertainment screen upgrades total speaker count to 21. New additions include an 8-megapixel digital rearview mirror and Insta360 expansion interface. Seats feature a 7-layer structure: zero-gravity front seats are standard during the initial sales period (free of charge); massage function is optional. Rear seats offer 140° backrest adjustment, heating/ventilation, and one-touch folding. A 21-inch 4K rear-seat entertainment screen is available as an option (+¥10,000).

The intelligent driving system receives a generational upgrade: standard equipment includes Li's in-house Mach M100 chip (5 nm process, 1,280 TOPS computing power), enabling external VLA command control and AI glasses interaction. The dual-chip version (+¥30,000) delivers 2,560 TOPS, paired with four LiDARs and seven 8-megapixel cameras — reducing critical decision-chain latency from 420 ms to just 240 ms. The chassis also sees major refinements: a next-generation full-aluminum suspension (front double-wishbone / rear five-link); dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers increase maximum damping force by 100%, cutting body sway by 30%; steering responsiveness in sport mode improves by 13.5%.
Powertrain retains the 1.5T range extender (L2E15M, max output 113 kW) and dual motors (front: 130 kW; rear: 170 kW; with a combined output of 300 kW), achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and raising top speed to 200 km/h. Battery capacity increases to 51 kWh, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 300 km (+88 km), and a CLTC combined range of 1,250 km. Fast charging from 20% to 80% takes only 12 minutes, with real-world peak charging power exceeding 260 kW. The battery supports 3,000 ultra-fast charging cycles and maintains over 80% health after 500,000 km.

Deliveries will commence within one week of the launch event. During the initial sales period, buyers receive complimentary front-row zero-gravity seat package, special paint options, and the Obsidian Black Sport Package. The Mach embodied intelligence suite is available as a limited-time option for ¥20,000. Against rivals like AITO M6, the new L6 differentiates itself through superior value (starting at ¥249,800), higher-spec autonomous driving hardware, and a more balanced overall experience. Li Xiang stated its ambition for the vehicle to become the 'King of Experience in its class', delivering segment-leading performance across multiple dimensions.
