Audi E5 Sportback OTA Update: Momenta Large Model Onboard, Intelligent Driving Evolves

On June 25, Audi officially rolled out the AUDI OS 1.3.0 over-the-air (OTA) update for the Audi E5 Sportback, deployed in phases.

The highlight of this update is the integration of Momenta’s reinforcement learning large model into the panoramic driver-assistance system—significantly enhancing recognition and decision-making capabilities in complex scenarios. It also introduces Baidu Maps’ seamless smartphone-to-vehicle handover: when logged into the same account on both phone and vehicle infotainment system, route planning, destination edits, and route switching sync bidirectionally and in real time—navigation starts instantly upon entering the vehicle, with zero redundant operations.

Additional improvements include: uninterrupted electronic rearview mirror display during gear shifts while reversing; automatic pop-up of operation guidance after launch control activation; repositioned HUD traffic-light countdown; and more driving-friendly interaction logic in the camera and photo gallery interfaces.
