At the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, FANG CHENG BAO officially unveiled the interiors of the Fangcheng S and Fangchengbao S GT models — marking the final stage before series production launch. Pre-orders are now open, with a price range of ¥230,000–¥280,000; market launch and deliveries are expected in early September.

The interior design follows mainstream EV trends, drastically reducing physical buttons for a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The center console features a floating large touchscreen, with its base integrating two physical rotary knobs to balance intuitive blind operation and precise interaction. The instrument panel is extensively covered in soft-touch materials, and speaker grilles are directly embedded into the dashboard surface — enabling fully integrated audio units. The multifunction steering wheel bears the FANG CHENG BAO logo at its center and features tactile physical control buttons on both sides. A column-mounted shifter replaces the traditional floor shifter, freeing up cabin floor space and enhancing openness and practicality.

Reportedly, the vehicle will be powered by BYD's next-generation Smart Ecosystem 2.0, which supports full-scenario functional expansion via three open interfaces: PIN, magnetic attachment, and threaded mounts. Hardware highlights include the DiSus-M intelligent magnetorheological suspension, fast charging (flash charging) technology, and the 'Tianshen B' platform — but official tuning logic and real-world performance metrics remain undisclosed.

Exterior styling adopts the 'Living Metal Aesthetics' language under the 'Fangcheng' (Equation) family, emphasizing 'one vehicle, multiple forms' — spanning the Fangcheng S, Fangcheng SL, and Fangchengbao S GT models. A closed front grille pairs with polygonal LED headlights and a full-width air intake; the rear features smoked, split-style taillights with the FANG CHENG BAO logo centered between them, complemented by a subtle ducktail spoiler and rear diffuser to reinforce sporty character. Dimensions for the Fangcheng S measure 5060 mm (L) × 1967 mm (W) × 1483 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 2960 mm.

Powertrain and range options include rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations: RWD variants deliver peak motor outputs of 245 kW and 300 kW respectively; AWD versions pair a 190 kW front motor with a 300 kW rear motor. Two battery capacities are offered — 76.744 kWh and 92.093 kWh — enabling five CLTC all-electric range options: 730 km, 750 km, 770 km, 830 km, and 900 km. Range variation across trims likely stems from combined effects of motor configuration, battery size, and curb weight; however, the official mapping of specific ranges to exact trim specifications has not yet been disclosed.

As BYD's premium personalized brand, the FANG CHENG BAO S-Series debut reinforces the 'technology democratization' philosophy of Everus while further diversifying Chinese brands' positioning in the mid-to-large pure-electric sedan segment.
