Denza N8L BEV Launch: 130.15kWh Blade Battery, 9-Minute Fast Charging to 97%

Starting at ¥299,800; CLTC Range of 960 km; Equipped with 'God's Eye' 5.0 Intelligent Driving System

DENZA Auto recently launched the all-electric Denza N8L, complementing its existing plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model and joining it in parallel sales. The BEV version is offered in two trims — Standard and Flagship — at prices of ¥299,800 and ¥329,800, respectively. Notably, despite its larger battery capacity, the BEV's entry price is ¥20,000 lower than the current PHEV model (¥319,800).

Dimensions & Design: Six-Seat Layout, Closed Front Fascia, Three Exclusive Colors

The new model measures 5,200 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,075 mm. It features a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration, with independent second-row seats and a third row offering longitudinal sliding adjustment. Externally, it adopts a closed front fascia design, with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. Three exclusive paint colors are introduced: 'Gold-Black', 'Winter Green', and 'Dusk Ink'.

Powertrain: 130.15kWh Gen-2 Blade Battery, CLTC Range of 960 km

The Denza N8L BEV is powered by a 130.15kWh second-generation BYD Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 960 km (approx. 778 km under WLTP). This same battery specification is also used in the BYD FANG CHENG BAO 'Leopard 5' AWD variant and the Denza DENZA N8, though the latter achieves a CLTC range of 1,003 km (approx. 812 km under WLTP), highlighting platform-level tuning differences. Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, the vehicle supports charging from 10% to 97% state-of-charge in approximately 9 minutes.

The launch model features a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout, producing a peak power output of 370 kW (496 hp); peak torque figures have not been disclosed.

Smart Cockpit & Intelligent Driving: Six-Screen Integration + DiClaw AI Agent

For intelligent driving, the vehicle integrates the 'God's Eye' 5.0 system, featuring hardware including one LiDAR, five millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, and twelve cameras — enabling highway NOA, urban NOA, and full-scenario automatic parking. The cockpit adopts a six-screen integration setup: digital instrument cluster, central infotainment display, front passenger entertainment screen, dual rear-seat entertainment screens, AR-HUD, and an electronic interior rearview mirror.

This model debuts BYD's in-house-developed 'DiClaw' AI agent, capable of interpreting complex multi-step commands and supporting trip planning, smart home integration, and more. Additionally, the vehicle includes a 208-liter electric front trunk equipped with a drain valve for water-based cleaning.
