Huajing S Delivery Surpasses 20,000 Units: Huawei Intelligent Driving + PHEV Full-Size SUV Sets New Benchmark

On August 17, SAIC Motor General Wuling officially announced that the cumulative deliveries of its large SUV — the Huajing S, co-developed in deep collaboration with Huawei — have surpassed 20,000 units. Built on the Tianyu Architecture L platform, the Huajing S comes standard with Huawei's "Smart Full-Stack" solution, with a price range of RMB 159,800–203,800.

Data shows the Huajing S delivered 7,203 units in July alone, demonstrating strong market ramp-up momentum. As a pivotal model for Wuling's leap toward premiumization and intelligence, the Huajing S has consistently reinforced its differentiated positioning as a "Huawei intelligent driving + plug-in hybrid large five-seater," making it one of the few PHEV SUVs in the RMB 150,000–200,000 segment equipped with high-level urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot).

In terms of exterior design, the Huajing S features Smart-Eye Sharp Vision full-width headlights paired with a closed front grille, delivering pronounced horizontal visual extension. Its dimensions measure 5,235 × 1,999 × 1,800 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. Four exterior color options are available: Obsidian Black, Lamb Fat White, Agate Gray, and Amber Blue. Its dual-layer, sunken trunk design balances practicality and flexibility, offering a standard cargo volume of 423 L, expandable to 1,268 L.

For the intelligent cockpit, the vehicle comes standard with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster; higher trims add a 15.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screen. It runs the HUAWEI HarmonySpace 5.0 system and integrates HUAWEI Qiankun ADS Car-Cloud HUAWEI iVCS, supporting dual 5G in-vehicle connectivity, Sentry Mode, remote smartphone control, and Starlink key functionality.

For active safety and intelligent driving capabilities, the Huajing S is standard-equipped with Huawei's CAS 4.0 Comprehensive Collision Avoidance System and debuts the in-cabin LiDAR Limera technology. It features the enhanced Qiankun ADS Pro system, enabling both highway and urban NOA. The automaker confirmed that an OTA upgrade to Qiankun ADS 5 Pro will follow.

The powertrain adopts Lingxi Power 3.0 — a plug-in hybrid architecture comprising a 1.5T engine (max output: 105 kW) and electric motor(s). The single-motor front-wheel-drive variant uses a 200 kW drive motor paired with either a 31 kWh or 41.9 kWh battery pack, delivering CLTC all-electric ranges of 200 km and 255 km respectively, and WLTC combined ranges of 1,133 km and 1,145 km. The dual-motor AWD version features front and rear motors rated at 200 kW and 186 kW respectively, exclusively paired with the 41.9 kWh battery pack, yielding a CLTC all-electric range of 235 km and a WLTC combined range of 1,020 km.

Under the chassis, the Huajing S employs a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear independent suspension, complemented by REPS electric power steering, electronically controlled adaptive dampers, and the EHBI intelligent braking control system. Its minimum turning radius is 5.85 m — reduced to 5.65 m when steering assist is activated.
