2027 Chevrolet Blazer EV Pricing Unchanged; Adds Standard NACS Charging Port and Optional Bose Audio

The 2027 Chevrolet Blazer EV is now open for reservations, with the automaker confirming that its full lineup retains the same starting prices as the 2026 model — a notable decision amid widespread industry price adjustments. Though pricing remains unchanged, the new model introduces several practical enhancements based on customer feedback, including a standard North American Charging Standard (NACS) port and optional Bose eight-speaker audio system now available for LT and RS trims.

The most significant update is the standard inclusion of the NACS charging port across all trims. This move underscores General Motors' ongoing strategy to unify electric vehicle charging infrastructure compatibility: since the 2026 Cadillac Optiq, GM has been transitioning all new EVs to the NACS standard. Once connected to the Tesla Supercharging Network, drivers gain access to over 250,000 NACS-compatible public chargers across North America — no adapter required. GM will, however, continue offering CCS adapters to ensure compatibility with home and third-party CCS Level 2 public charging stations.

Another key upgrade is the expanded availability of the premium audio system. Previously standard only on the top-tier SS trim, the Bose eight-speaker audio system is now offered as an option for LT and RS trims — but only when bundled with the Super Cruise Driver Assistance Package. In addition to the Bose audio, this package includes the RS Convenience & Driver Confidence Package, heated rear wiper, head-up display, enhanced parking assist, and the Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system.

According to official data, the 2027 Blazer EV maintains identical starting MSRPs across its three core trims: $44,700 for the LT FWD, $50,500 for the RS FWD, and $60,700 for the SS AWD high-performance variant (all excluding the $1,795 destination freight charge). The AWD system upgrade remains a fixed $3,000 option. Notably, the Super Cruise Driver Assistance Package sees a modest price increase to $3,795 — up $540 from the 2026 model year.

In terms of powertrain and range, all trims feature an 85 kWh battery pack. Under EPA testing, the FWD models deliver a combined range of 312 miles (~502 km), while the SS AWD achieves 302 miles (~486 km). Compared to key rivals such as the Tesla Model Y ($39,990 starting MSRP) and Hyundai IONIQ 5 ($36,600 starting MSRP), the Blazer EV commands a higher price point — but GM emphasizes its larger exterior footprint and more spacious cabin.
