AION N60 Receives Third OTA Update, Adds Smart Features Including Remote Parking Assist

Starting at RMB 109,800; Equipped with WeRide's End-to-End AI Model and Amorphous Alloy Silicon Carbide Electric Drive

On June 30, AION officially announced that its compact all-electric SUV — the AION N60 — is rolling out its third full-scenario OTA update. This update applies to all three trim levels, with official recommended retail prices ranging from RMB 109,800 to RMB 129,800.

This OTA update significantly enhances intelligent driving and parking capabilities, adding features including remote parking assist (park-in after driver exits), remote parking assist (park-out via remote control), NDA (Navigation-assisted Driving) activation directly from Park gear, three-point turns, and navigation-free roaming for parking spot search. Notably, remote parking assist allows the vehicle to automatically detect and park into a target spot upon receiving a command from the driver after exiting the vehicle; meanwhile, navigation-free roaming enables autonomous searching for nearby available parking spaces — even without a preset destination — greatly improving commuting convenience in urban commuting.

In terms of design, the AION N60 was led by former BMW i8 Chief Designer Ye Binhuan and adopts an all-new Star Ring design language. Its front fascia features full-width Star Ring LED light bar, while the rear integrates a matching full-width taillight, reinforcing visual cohesion across the vehicle. Dimensions measure 4,615 × 1,883 × 1,673 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm; seven exterior colors are offered: Sky Blue, Star Ring Silver, Soft Gold, Polar White, Night Shadow Black, Cloud Horizon Gray, and Ocean Glow Gray.

The cabin centers on an enveloping layout, standard-equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen running ADiGO 6.0 human-machine interaction software. For intelligent driving hardware, all trims come standard with a LiDAR + 4D millimeter-wave radar setup, paired with WeRide's end-to-end large AI model to deliver full-scenario NDA — covering highways, urban streets, and rural roads. Parking capability ranks among industry leaders: it supports automatic parking in narrow, curved, and dead-end spaces, and enables memory parking across up to three floors — up to 3 km in total distance.

The powertrain is another major highlight of the AION N60: it is the industry's first to adopt an amorphous alloy silicon carbide electric drive platform, achieving a peak motor efficiency of 99% and a CLTC combined energy consumption as low as 11.5 kWh/100 km. All variants use a single-motor front-wheel-drive configuration delivering maximum output of 165 kW; CLTC range spans 410–610 km. According to official data, Sentry Mode consumes only ~3 kWh per day. The chassis features MacPherson struts up front and a five-link independent rear suspension.

As AION's all-electric SUV targeting mainstream family buyers, the AION N60 continues strengthening its intelligent experience through iterative OTA updates — demonstrating Chinese automakers' rapid responsiveness along the 'software-defined vehicle' path. Note, however, that all features are currently in mass-production deployment; real-world performance remains subject to user validation.
