IM LS9 Hyper Launch Set for July 16 — Triple-Motor + Full-Axle Steer-by-Wire

IM LS9 Hyper will officially launch on July 16, positioned as a premium large six-seat SUV priced around ¥300,000. It features significant differentiation from the standard LS9 in exterior badging, chassis architecture, and powertrain.

The new model is equipped with SAIC Motor's first production triple-motor vector four-wheel drive system, arranged front-one + rear-two: peak motor outputs are 160 kW (front), 195 kW (left rear), and 195 kW (right rear), enabling sub-3-second 0–100 km/h acceleration. It also features steer-by-wire and Lingxi Digital Chassis technology, supporting full-axle steer-by-wire control. Its energy system comprises a ternary lithium battery (CATL SAIC Motor cells, SAIC Motor-branded pack) and a 1.5T range extender (model 15FNE, max output 114 kW). Dimensions are 5279 mm × 2000 mm × 1806 mm, with a wheelbase of 3160 mm.
