ZEEKR 7X is set for a new round of product iteration. According to official brand announcements, the 2027-model ZEEKR 7X all-electric SUV will launch in the Chinese market in Q4 2026 with a new 85kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery — named the 'Aegis Golden Brick Battery'. Developed independently by GEELY, it features short-blade cell architecture.

The current entry-level ZEEKR 7X is equipped with a 75kWh LFP Golden Brick Battery, delivering peak power of 370kW (496 hp) and a CLTC range of 620km. It supports a 618V high-voltage platform, enabling 10–80% fast charging in just 10.5 minutes. The long-range variant uses a 103kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) battery, achieving an 802km CLTC range and a 10-minute-15-second 10–80% charge time. The new 85kWh battery is expected to replace the existing 75kWh version, narrowing the performance and range gap between standard and long-range trims.
Reportedly, the Aegis Golden Brick Battery offers a rated service life of up to 1 million km and 3,500 full charge-discharge cycles, along with enhanced thermal runaway protection. However, official figures for CLTC range, charging performance, and powertrain specs remain unannounced. Industry analysts estimate its CLTC range could exceed 700km — positioning it in direct competition with Li i6 (which packs an 87.3kWh LFP battery and delivers a 720km CLTC range).

As the flagship all-electric SUV under GEELY's premium EV brand, ZEEKR 7X debuted in China in September 2024 as a five-seat midsize electric SUV — widely seen as a localized competitor to Tesla Model Y — and later entered European markets the same year. In October 2025, Zeekr rolled out a mid-cycle update for the 7X, boosting peak power of the dual-motor AWD variant from 637 hp to 784 hp (585kW). Per China EV DataTracker, cumulative domestic deliveries reached 136,356 units as of 2025.
At launch, buyers will receive several limited-time "free option" packages, including an electric rear lounge seat, vehicle-mounted refrigerator, and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels — valued collectively at ¥18,999. Current China-market ZEEKR 7X dimensions are 4825 × 1930 × 1666 mm, with a 2925-mm wheelbase; pricing spans ¥229,800–¥269,800.
