Roewe Jiayue 07 Makes Global Debut at Chengdu Auto Show: Blind Booking Surpasses 11,000 Units in 7 Days

On August 21, the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show officially opened, marking the world premiere of Roewe's all-new mid-to-upper-segment SUV — the Jiayue 07. Prior to the show, the model launched a blind booking campaign, requiring only a ¥999 deposit to secure early-bird benefits. Blind bookings exceeded 11,027 units within just seven days, reflecting strong market anticipation for this high-spec, intelligent-driving-focused newcomer.

The Jiayue 07 is positioned as a large five-seat mid-to-upper-segment SUV, with dimensions of 4900 mm × 1910 mm × 1745 mm (1753 mm for higher trims) and a wheelbase of 2908 mm. Its short front overhang and long rear overhang strike a balance between interior practicality and visual impact. Exterior design carries forward Roewe's latest design language, featuring near-90-degree vertical surfacing at both ends, a full-width star-link lighting strip, and nearly 3,000 embossed starlight LEDs. A roof-mounted LiDAR sits atop the cabin; the front fascia includes a standard active grille, while side profiles feature semi-concealed door handles and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The dashboard, center console, and lower leg areas adopt a three-tier stepped layout. Dual 15.6-inch 2.5K displays include a central infotainment screen and a foldable rear-seat screen adjustable up to 110 degrees — both certified by TÜV Rheinland for blue-light reduction. Powertrain-wise, the Jiayue 07 adopts a 1.5L range-extender setup: the range extender delivers peak power of 72 kW, while the drive motor outputs 162 kW. All variants use CATL batteries in two capacities — 32.6 kWh and 44.2 kWh. The 32.6 kWh version offers a CLTC all-electric range of 220 km and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 5.29 L/100 km. The 44.2 kWh variant delivers a CLTC all-electric range of 320 km, a CLTC total range of 1,480 km, and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 4.97 L/100 km — supporting 30–80% fast charging in just 15 minutes.
