BMW recently released its Q2 2026 financial results and confirmed that the all-new BMW iX3 long-wheelbase version will launch pre-orders at the August 2026 Chengdu Auto Show.

The vehicle has now entered the final pre-production testing phase. During a real-world range test conducted in Qinghai this May, the new model retained 2% battery charge after traveling over 800 km. Official details — including battery capacity, motor specifications, and pricing — have not yet been disclosed. Additionally, a new long-wheelbase BMW i3 variant is expected to follow, further expanding the brand's next-generation product lineup.
