M-Hero M817 Officially Delivered: Starting at ¥299,900, Huawei Intelligent Driving + 800V Ultra-Fast Charging

On July 12, M-Hero officially announced the start of customer deliveries for its all-new large SUV — the M-Hero M817. The vehicle launched earlier this year in five trim levels, priced between ¥299,900 and ¥399,900.

The exterior continues the Heroic Soul Aesthetics 2.0 design language, featuring a highly distinctive front fascia. The rear adopts the brand's signature cross-shaped 'Sword to the Sky' taillights and includes an external cargo pouch — blending practicality with outdoor readiness. Dimensions measure 5,100 mm (L) × 1,998 mm (W) × 1,899 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 3,005 mm. Six exterior colors are available: Ulan Orange, Gezong Black, Yulong Silver, Mingsha Yellow, Qinling Green, and Kunlun White.

The interior embraces a minimalist, rugged style and features the HUAWEI HarmonySpace Off-Road Edition (HUAWEI HarmonySpace 6.0), supporting intelligent off-road Agent-assisted route planning. The center console is clean and linear, equipped with a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a large floating central touchscreen. Interior color options include Xiaying Orange, Yingsong Ink, Danxia Brown, and Jinchuan Red. For intelligent driving, the vehicle integrates the HUAWEI Qiankun ADS 5 full-stack solution, including dual-path, image-grade LiDAR with 896 lines, and debuts off-road NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist), enabling seamless transitions between city and wilderness scenarios. It also employs Huawei's comprehensive collision avoidance system CAS 5.0, delivering six-dimensional safety protection.

Powertrain options include two plug-in hybrid systems. The first combines a dedicated 2.0T hybrid engine (thermal efficiency: 45.5%) with dual electric motors, delivering combined outputs of 598 kW / 715 kW and peak torque of 1,175 N·m / 1,241 N·m — enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.2 seconds and 4.26 seconds respectively. It pairs with either a 51.9 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery or a 62.5 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering CLTC all-electric ranges of 215 km and 301 km, and CLTC total ranges up to 1,365 km and 1,450 km. Its WLTC fuel consumption in charge-sustaining mode is 8.36 L/100 km and 7.99 L/100 km, while 30%–80% fast charging takes just 16.2 minutes and 9.6 minutes respectively (leveraging the 800V architecture and 6C ultra-fast charging). The second option uses a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, generating 505 kW combined power, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and equipped with a 31.7 kWh CATL LFP battery delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 140 km.

For off-road capability, the vehicle offers nine driving modes and a maximum wading depth of 900 mm. It features intelligent E-locking plus front/rear differential locks, and the Panstone Chassis 2.0 — comprising a full-aluminum structure, front/rear double-wishbone independent suspension, dual-chamber air suspension with CDC, and bidirectional 20-degree rear-wheel steering (minimum turning radius: 5.2 m). It also supports crawl mode and a fully automated in-vehicle smart drone system.
