LYNK&CO 07 GT Pre-orders Start at ¥165,800: MRC Suspension + Factory-Installed Tow Hitch Redefine the Sports Wagon Segment

China's first plug-in hybrid GT wagon with supercar-derived magnetorheological suspension, targeting a new performance-oriented mobility niche priced between ¥150,000–¥200,000

For years, station wagons in China have occupied an awkward space — cherished more for nostalgia than sales volume: imported luxury models carry steep price tags, while domestic alternatives often sacrifice either chassis performance or outdoor versatility. Most buyers end up compromising between family SUVs and sporty sedans.

On June 29, the LYNK&CO 07 GT officially launched pre-orders, with prices ranging from ¥165,800 to ¥185,800. The limited Ten-Year Anniversary Edition is priced at ¥208,800 (only 1,007 units available), and the vehicle will go on sale in July. Built on the EM-P electrified hybrid architecture, it stands alone in the ¥150,000–¥200,000 segment as the only high-performance plug-in hybrid GT wagon offering MRC magnetorheological suspension, factory-fitted electric retractable tow hitch (rated up to 1.6 tons), roof rack rated for dynamic loads up to 100 kg, and 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output.

Powertrain-wise, the LYNK&CO 07 GT features a highly efficient 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with thermal efficiency reaching 47.26%. The front-wheel-drive version packs a 28.3 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,422 km. The all-wheel-drive variant delivers a total system output of 390 kW, sprints 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and achieves a fuel consumption of just 5.46 L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode. Its MRC magnetorheological suspension responds in just 1 ms, adjusting damping forces up to 1,000 times per second — and paired with an in-house road-preview algorithm, it identifies road conditions up to 15 meters ahead. In dual-condition moose tests, it achieved 82.1 km/h with rooftop luggage and 81.9 km/h while towing equipment.

Smart features include standard LiDAR sensors and the LYNK Flyme Auto 2.5 infotainment system. Its intelligent driving platform — HaoHan Qianli H7 — runs on the NVIDIA Thor-U chip (700 TOPS computing power), supported by 27 sensors, enabling D2D (door-to-door) navigation and map-free NOA nationwide. The cabin features a 23-speaker Harman Kardon 7.1.4 immersive audio system, Nappa leather heated/ventilated/massaging seats, a 5.5-liter fridge with heating and cooling functions, and multi-stage rear seatback adjustment (119°–129°).

Pre-order incentives include a time-limited Tech Package (valued up to ¥12,347, covering AR-HUD and Eva in-car robot), an optional-equipment package (total value ¥28,000, allowing zero-cost upgrades like carbon-fiber rear spoiler and performance kit), plus a ¥100,000 two-year 0% interest financing plan and ¥6,000 trade-in subsidy. The Ten-Year Anniversary Edition adds a ¥20,000 loyal-customer trade-in bonus and a ¥1,000 electric skateboard. Notably, the LYNK&CO 07 GT will also compete in brand rally series G.PATTON GX in Q3 2026, accelerating track-proven tech transfer to consumer vehicles.

Industry observers note that the LYNK&CO 07 GT isn't merely a sedan stretched into a wagon — it's built on seven TCR championship-winning chassis tuning expertise, integrating long-range PHEV powertrains, camping-ready expansion ecosystems, and full-stack intelligence. Its starting price of ¥165,800 could meaningfully lower the entry barrier for wagon buyers — but real-world adoption will depend on dealership rollout and user experience after its July launch. As domestic NEV GT models flood the market, the wagon segment is quietly shifting from blue ocean to red ocean.
