Lynk & Co 0 Launches: Only All-Electric SUV Under ¥200,000 with Standard 800V Architecture + LiDAR

Performance 'Big Wing' Variant Debuts Simultaneously; September Launch Date Set — Pricing Is the Key Variable

On August 21, at the Chengdu Auto Show, Lynk & Co unveiled its all-new all-electric SUV — the Lynk & Co 20. Departing from the earlier Z20 naming convention, the vehicle reverts to the core numeric series and is officially named "Lynk & Co 20", signaling a new phase in LYNK&CO's all-electric strategy. The automaker confirmed it will enter production in September 2026 — but pricing remains unannounced.

On display, the eye-catching "Lynk & Co 20 Big Wing Edition" featured a vibrant Leap Yellow exterior and a full-carbon-fiber, large-size rear wing. At 180 km/h, the wing generates 500 N of downforce and works in concert with the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser as a factory-installed aerodynamic package. Notably, the entire performance kit is OEM-specified, covered under the full vehicle warranty, and fully road-legal without registration modifications — upholding LYNK&CO's brand philosophy of "factory-tuned, factory-original."

Zhou Xing, Executive Deputy General Manager of Lynk & Co Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., emphasized that Lynk & Co 20's core strategy isn't about loading up on high-end trims — but rather standardizing three key technologies across *all* variants: an 800V high-voltage architecture, 6C ultra-fast charging (peak power 460 kW; 10%–80% charge in just 12 minutes), and LiDAR sensors. Officially dubbed "the only model under ¥200,000 with both 800V architecture and LiDAR as standard equipment," the vehicle features the G-ASD H5 intelligent driving system — equipped with 28 perception units — and supports urban NOA, highway NOA, and end-to-end parking-to-parking navigation. Its powertrain adopts a next-generation 16-in-1 silicon carbide oil-cooled electric drive; the rear motor delivers peak output of 245 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.4 seconds. CLTC all-electric ranges are 545 km (Long Range) and 630 km (Ultra Long Range).

For refined user experience, the Lynk & Co 20 integrates LYNK Flyme Auto 2.5 smart cockpit, featuring a 15.4-inch 2.5K center console display, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 13.8-inch HUD. It debuts China's first vehicle-mounted 37.5L external freezer (–18°C to 10°C) and a 6.8L center-console dual-zone fridge (–6°C to 50°C). With 36 dedicated storage locations throughout the cabin, frequently used functions retain physical buttons and crystal-cut rotary dials; a large soft-glow vanity mirror includes dual-side LED lighting.

Zhou noted that Lynk & Co is accelerating its transition from plug-in hybrids to BEVs: "EM-P PHEVs formed our foundation historically — but with rising BEV penetration, we've decisively accelerated our pure-electric rollout." The Lynk & Co 20 joins the LYNK&CO 10 family, Lynk & Co 07 GT, LYNK&CO 08, and LYNK&CO 900 to form Lynk & Co's comprehensive new-energy product matrix — bolstering the brand's second-half sales momentum.

However, market headwinds remain strong. Citing data from CAAM and other institutions, Zhou reported an 18.7% year-on-year decline in domestic retail volume during H1 2026 — driven by tapering trade-in incentives, termination of NEV purchase tax subsidies, and heightened consumer caution. He expects a modest recovery in Q3 and stronger year-end volume in Q4. Ultimately, Lynk & Co 20's real market impact hinges on its final price point — revealed this September. As he put it: "Standardization is a promise — but only pricing can deliver it."
