On August 31, Youngman Lotus officially launched the ELETRE 900 GOLD, with a starting MSRP of ¥928,000. As the high-performance flagship variant of the ELETRE lineup, this all-electric mid-to-large SUV emphasizes extreme aerodynamics and lightweight engineering — and is now priced and open for pre-orders.

The exterior extensively uses carbon fiber, with carbon components at nearly 62 locations across the vehicle — totaling up to 6.1 m² of maximum carbon fiber coverage. Standard features include the exclusive 900 GOLD carbon fiber badge and texture, plus an optional interior/exterior carbon fiber package covering the hood, outer mirror housings, active flaps, 23-inch forged carbon-fiber-spoke wheels, and cabin trim panels. The braking system features 10-piston carbon-ceramic calipers (420 mm front / 410 mm rear), reducing unsprung mass by approximately 30 kg.
Aerodynamics is a core highlight: the vehicle integrates seven Race-Aero ducts alongside a 4-stage active spoiler, generating up to 112.5 kg of downforce at high speeds — significantly enhancing cornering stability and high-speed road-holding.

The interior retains its track-inspired DNA, featuring a 2.4 m² PDLC smart sunroof with 10-level stepless dimming and 99% UV blocking. A triple-screen cockpit includes a 15.1-inch central display, a 12.6-inch front passenger entertainment screen, and a 12.6-inch fully digital instrument cluster — all powered by the HYPER OS infotainment system and dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips.
The powertrain is built on a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform, adopting a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive layout delivering a combined output of 918 hp and peak torque of 985 N·m. It pairs with a 112 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC all-electric range of 560 km; acceleration is 0–100 km/h in 2.95 seconds and 0–200 km/h in 9.5 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 265 km/h. The chassis features a six-axis dynamic system comprising dual-chamber air suspension, CDC continuously adjustable dampers, a 48V active anti-roll bar, and active rear-wheel steering.

Notably, although the ELETRE 900 GOLD has been officially launched and priced, Lotus has yet to disclose its initial delivery timeline or launch markets. Its production ramp-up and dealer network rollout remain pending further official updates.
