LEAP3.5 Platform Debut: Youth-Oriented EV Sedan and SUV Unveiled Together

Kicking off 2026, Leapmotor has adopted the rare 'dual-model launch' strategy to enter the ¥100,000 EV segment — its all-new B01 sedan and B10 SUV debuted simultaneously. Both models are built on the brand-new LEAP3.5 technical architecture — not mere facelifts or annual updates, but a holistic system-level upgrade spanning powertrain, intelligent driving, and cockpit experience.

The B01 is a youth-focused, sporty pure-electric sedan offered in five trims, priced from ¥95,800 to ¥119,800; the B10 is a compact pure-electric SUV, also with five variants, priced from ¥99,800 to ¥125,800. Notably, even the base trims come standard with a full-vehicle 800V high-voltage platform and 3C ultra-fast charging capability — peak charging power reaches 210 kW, enabling a 30%–80% state-of-charge replenishment in just 16 minutes under CLTC conditions.

At 4,770 mm long, the B01 achieves an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.197. Its top-spec variant features a CATL 69.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering a CLTC range of 670 km. A rear-mounted, rear-wheel-drive motor offers three power outputs — 132 kW, 180 kW, and 185 kW — with sub-6-second 0–100 km/h acceleration. The newly introduced Yun Dai Purple paint looks even better in person than in renderings, while its fastback silhouette reinforces sporty appeal.

As an SUV, the B10 delivers greater rear headroom and practicality. Its top trim offers a CLTC range of 610 km. Key upgrades include standard rear wiper, 19-inch Meteorite Gray alloy wheels, and a larger 55-inch AR-HUD (16,000 nits brightness) — a notable step up from the B01's 50-inch HUD in visibility and usability.

Inside, both models feature a standard 17.3-inch 3K-resolution central touchscreen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip — real-world testing confirms smooth operation. Dual front zero-gravity seats are optional, offering a 124° recline angle and 10-point massage function; seat upholstery meets OEKO-TEX® Class I certification for infant safety.

For intelligent driving, the LiDAR-equipped version uses the Qualcomm 8650 chip and 27 perception sensors, enabling end-to-end parking-to-parking navigation assistance. AEB automatic emergency braking operates between 4–130 km/h, and AES emergency steering assist is newly added.

In terms of competition, the B01 and B10 will go head-to-head with popular rivals including BYD Qin PLUS EV and Xpeng MONA. The former excels in brand channel strength and residual value; the latter has built solid credibility in smart features. Leapmotor, meanwhile, aims to redefine value benchmarks in this segment through architecture-level innovation paired with class-leading specifications.
