Kia has officially unveiled Canadian pricing for its first all-electric panel van — the PV5 — marking the model's global expansion into commercial EV markets following its launches in Europe and Korea. The PV5 is scheduled to go on sale in Canada in Q4 2026, becoming another high-value electric offering from Kia in North America.

A Flexible, Purpose-Built EV Platform for Commercial Use
The PV5 is not a conventional passenger MPV but rather an all-electric panel van purpose-engineered for TownCar logistics and light commercial applications. Built on Hyundai Automotive Group's flexible E-GMP electric platform and equipped with the latest in-vehicle software, it delivers an integrated mobility and cargo solution. The vehicle launched in late 2025 in Europe and Korea; in Korea, it has already become Kia's top-selling battery-electric model, while in Europe it captured 9% of total light commercial electric vehicle (eLCV) sales during its initial launch phase.

Two Trims, Standard 71.2 kWh Battery & NACS Fast Charging
The Canadian market will offer two PV5 Cargo variants: Basic and Plus. Both feature a standard 71.2 kWh battery pack, delivering up to 360 km (approx. 223 miles) of CLTC-rated range. All models come standard with the North American Charging System (NACS) connector and DC fast charging — capable of charging from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes.
As a two-seater commercial vehicle, the PV5 Cargo offers 5,016 liters of cargo volume, a maximum payload of 1,631 lbs (approx. 740 kg), and a wheelbase of 2,995 mm. Its interior supports modular customization to meet diverse business needs. The Basic trim includes a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus ADAS features including blind-spot collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, and highway driving assist — all OTA Farizon upgradable.
The Plus trim adds wireless smartphone charging, bi-directional V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability, heated front seats and heated steering wheel, plus a surround-view monitor and blind-spot detection — enhancing convenience for parking and maneuvering in tight spaces.

Clear Pricing & Incentives; No U.S. Launch Confirmed
Kia Canada has announced that the PV5 Basic starts at CAD $46,995 (approx. USD $33,099), while the Plus trim starts at CAD $49,095 (approx. USD $34,599). Fully loaded prices — including freight and taxes — stand at CAD $49,744 and CAD $51,844 respectively. Both trims qualify for Canada's federal "Electric Vehicle Affordability Program," offering up to CAD $5,000 in purchase incentives.
Notably, although some test units have been spotted operating in the U.S., Kia has not confirmed plans to launch the PV5 there. Due to import tariff policies, near-term entry into the U.S. market remains unlikely. Meanwhile, the PV5 will join the EV4 and EV5 — already available in Canada — to form Kia's localized electric product lineup.
