The all-new BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase has arrived at authorized dealerships across China, marking the official rollout of BMW’s strategic upgrade for the premium battery-electric market in China. As BMW’s first fully China-specific long-wheelbase BEV SUV, this model is far more than a simple stretched version of the global iX3—it features a comprehensive re-engineering of its next-generation electric drive architecture, intelligent cockpit, and localized functionality.

The new model adopts BMW’s latest ‘Neue Klasse’ design language, with a 3D-lit kidney grille and an integrated digital ‘Angel Wing’ LED headlight cluster. The front bumper features a segmented sporty design. Notably, the iconic Hofmeister kink has been reimagined as the ‘Mirror-Finish Kink’—a design element exclusive to the Chinese market. Semi-concealed door handles integrate both electric and mechanical opening modes, backed by triple safety redundancy. At the rear, a three-dimensional 3D ‘Feather Tail’ light bar pairs with a sporty rear spoiler and bumper to enhance visual impact.
