Aston Martin Valen Unveiled: Limited-Edition V12 Supercar, Only 150 Units Worldwide

Recently, Aston Martin officially unveiled its new flagship supercar, the Valen — the most powerful front-engine V12 model in the brand's 113-year history. Developed by the Q division, this ultra-exclusive model is strictly limited to just 150 units globally, with first customer deliveries scheduled for Q2 2027. Its name derives from the Latin word 'valens', meaning 'strong' and 'powerful', continuing Aston Martin's tradition of naming its top-tier models with the letter 'V'.

The exterior design delivers striking visual impact: slender, recessed headlights are enveloped by a steeply raked engine hood; sharply defined radiator intakes, a Geome mesh grille, and an aggressively angled front splitter collectively enhance distinctiveness. The hand-built carbon-fiber body is available in full-exposed carbon-fiber finish, plus multiple color options and two surface finishes — matte satin or high-gloss. A vent opening sits behind the hood's top air outlet; side skirts are sharpened and extended to integrate large functional vents that channel wheel-arch airflow smoothly along the body; serrated vortex generators on the rear door sills optimize underbody airflow and increase downforce.

The rear features a single-piece tailgate — replacing the conventional fixed rear window and separate trunk lid — with an integrated aerodynamic wing. When opened, it reveals a 170-liter cargo capacity. An optional bespoke travel pack includes a soft, custom-fit protective cover, balancing practicality with paint protection.

The interior emphasizes visual lightness: a slim, sculpted center console incorporates advanced 3D-printed components and a performance-focused button layout derived from Valhalla; the central control panel angles toward the driver to reinforce an immersive, driver-centric cockpit. Seat options include the Sports Plus performance-enhanced seat and a lightweight carbon-fiber racing seat. Overall, the Valen sheds up to 110 kg versus current core V12 models, thanks to extensive use of race-grade materials — carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium, and magnesium — with optional forged aluminum suspension wishbones and titanium chassis fasteners.

Underpinning the Valen is a rigid, fixed rear subframe paired with bespoke springs, auxiliary springs, and Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers. Steering calibration prioritizes agility and front-axle grip limits. A newly developed lightweight titanium exhaust system features quad stacked tailpipes (upper and lower), with 3D-printed titanium trim. Power comes from the brand's most potent 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine ever — delivering 850 hp maximum output and 1,000 N·m peak torque (available from 2,500 rpm), mated exclusively to the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The Valen accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 344 km/h. Three driving modes — Sport, Sport+, and Track — are offered.
