GRMN Corolla Makes Global Debut — Toyota’s Most Extreme Corolla Yet

Toyota has officially unveiled the GR brand’s top-tier performance model — the GRMN Corolla — in its world premiere. Positioned as the ultimate high-performance variant of the Corolla family, this limited-edition model will be launched exclusively in Japan, North America, and Australia.

Built on real-world Nürburgring Nordschleife testing data and insights from Japan’s Super Endurance Series, the GRMN Corolla integrates cutting-edge driving simulator technology to significantly enhance cornering stability and steering response. Its dimensions measure 4,410 × 1,850 × 1,475 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. Power comes from the GR-series-derived G16E-GTS 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output of 224 kW and peak torque of 415 N·m. Pre-orders in Japan will open in autumn 2026, with deliveries scheduled for 2027.
