ARCFOX Beta T1 Launches: Starts at $8,700, A New A0-Class BEV SUV

Rebranded + Full-Width Taillights + Lifetime Powertrain Warranty — Prioritizing Class-Leading Space & Premium Features

On June 16, ARCFOX officially launched its all-new model—the Beta T1. This vehicle is not built on a new platform but is a deep facelift of the current ARCFOX T1, now repositioned under a refreshed product naming strategy—marking ARCFOX’s systematic entry into the entry-level battery electric vehicle (BEV) market.

Three trims are offered at launch, with limited-time subsidized prices ranging from $8,700 to $10,900. Just nine months after its initial launch, this rapid iteration reflects the brand’s agile response to segment dynamics.

The most noticeable changes are exterior-focused: the front retains ARCFOX’s signature full-width LED headlights; the rear receives a complete upgrade with full-width LED taillights, complemented by a roof-mounted spoiler and a redesigned rear bumper—significantly boosting visual width and brand recognition. Side profile features semi-concealed door handles and two new exclusive paint colors.

Spaciousness is Beta T1’s core strength. As an A0-class BEV SUV, it measures 1,860 mm wide and boasts a 2,770 mm wheelbase—among the longest in its class. Its trunk offers 459 L of standard capacity, expanding to 1,352 L with rear seats folded—ideal for both daily commuting and family trips.

Equipment follows an ‘entry-level = premium-spec’ philosophy: all trims include a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, 540-degree panoramic imaging, automatic parking, Sentry Mode, built-in dashcam, and front-row wireless phone charging. Higher trims add power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and heated front seats. For a sub-$10,000 vehicle, 540-degree imaging and automatic parking greatly lower the barrier for new drivers.

Powertrain features a front-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 350 km and 450 km. The 450 km variant better addresses urban users’ range anxiety versus competitors. Purchase incentives stand out: lifetime free maintenance, lifetime warranty on battery, motor, and e-axle (‘three-electric’ systems), 5-year/120,000-km comprehensive vehicle warranty, plus a $140 subsidy for first-year compulsory traffic insurance—totaling over $2,900 in added value. Lifetime three-electric warranty is exceptionally rare in the sub-$10,000 BEV segment.

In the mainstream $8,700–$11,000 BEV segment, Beta T1 directly competes with BYD Seagull ($9,650–$13,500) and Geely Starry ($9,000–$13,100). Among the three, Beta T1 differentiates itself with the lowest starting price, longest wheelbase, and SUV body style—especially appealing to families prioritizing lateral cabin space, cargo practicality, and elevated driving visibility.
