Recently, LuxceedRX officially unveiled its new exterior color — 'Flash Butterfly Blue' — and simultaneously released extensive design and technical details. The vehicle is scheduled to open for limited pre-orders in August; however, its official launch and delivery timeline remains unconfirmed, as the model is still in the pre-launch phase.

Exterior: Sporty Proportions + 10 Aerodynamic Ducts + Starry-Eye Headlights
The LuxceedRX adopts a low-slung, sporty silhouette with a wheel-to-height ratio of 1:2 and a width-to-height ratio of 1.26 — emphasizing visual dynamism and presence. Ten strategically placed aerodynamic ducts are integrated across the body to systematically manage airflow front-to-rear. The front fenders feature subtle contours, housing the 'Starry-Eye Headlights' — comprising 90 LEDs — and star-diamond ADS position lamps. During welcome mode, the lighting sequence activates row-by-row; during charging, brightness pulses rhythmically like breathing; and when responding to voice commands or switching ADAS functions, the headlights blink in sync to provide intuitive status feedback.
The side profile showcases a striking 'broad-shoulder, narrow-waist' contrast: full, upward-sweeping wheel arches frame sharply recessed character lines, while the rear tires flare outward to meet a subtly upturned tail. Frameless door handles are standard, and wheel options include 20-, 21-, and 22-inch alloys. Official dimensions stand at 5020 mm (L) × 2007 mm (W) × 1585 mm (H), with a 3000-mm wheelbase.
Rear & Interior: Crystal-Diamond Taillights + Symmetrical Cockpit + Upgraded HUD
The rear features a C-shaped family-design full-width taillight, embedded with approximately 10,000 randomly arranged crystal diamonds that deliver a natural gemstone-like luminosity. When lit, the illumination cascades downward in a waterfall-style gradient. A large diffuser-style rear bumper panel completes the aggressive rear styling.
Inside, based on prior spy shots, the LuxceedRX adopts a symmetrical center console layout. Compared to LUXEED R7, the driver's area integrates an inset digital instrument cluster and an enlarged head-up display (HUD); ample storage space is reserved beneath the HUD unit.
Powertrain & Battery: Dual-Motor Options + Multiple Battery Capacities + Wide Range Span
Two powertrain configurations are offered: single-motor and dual-motor. The single-motor variant uses Huawei Digital Energy's YY67TZ210A05 drive motor, delivering peak output of 277 kW. The dual-motor version pairs YY67YS210A06 (160 kW) and YY67TZ210A05 (277 kW) motors.
Three battery capacities are available: 100.424 kWh, 100.256 kWh, and 81.1 kWh. Corresponding CLTC all-electric ranges span 753 km, 700 km, 852 km, 822 km, 702 km, and 672 km — indicating varying test conditions or standards for identical battery sizes. Specific capacity-to-range pairings have not yet been disclosed.
Technology Highlights: Whale Platform + Quad-LiDAR + Full-Stack Redundant Architecture
The LuxceedRX will be built on Huawei's Whale Battery platform and equipped with quad-LiDAR hardware and HUAWEI Qiankun ADS's full-stack redundant intelligent driving architecture. It also debuts electromagnetic thermal-control die-casting — a proprietary technology designed to enhance structural rigidity and thermal management efficiency. All technical specs and configurations remain in the official disclosure phase, with no production or delivery yet underway.
