Five Coupe SUVs Debut Simultaneously: LuxceedRX and Arcfox Alpha T7 Lead the Pack

New energy models flood MIIT registration list; BEV and extended-range powertrains advance in parallel; wheelbases commonly exceed 3 meters

Coupe SUVs are rapidly evolving from a niche concept into a mainstream segment. Recently, multiple new mid-to-large-size NEV coupe SUVs have completed MIIT registration or been spotted in prototype form, signaling intensified product competition in this segment by 2026.

Luxceed RX: Built on Huawei's Tech Foundation, Expected Launch This Fall

The Luxceed RX has completed MIIT registration and is expected to launch in fall 2026. Its design emphasizes a low-slung stance and dynamic tension — featuring a closed front fascia, upward-sweeping dual headlights, and a trapezoidal air intake. Some media outlets have likened its visual language to the 'Ferrari style'. Dimensions measure 5020 × 2007 × 1585 mm, with a 3000-mm wheelbase — matching that of Xiaomi YU7. Powertrain options include single- and dual-motor BEV configurations. While intelligent features are rumored to incorporate Huawei technologies, official specs and configuration details remain unannounced.

VOYAH Passion S: Four LiDAR Sensors + Huawei Qwen ADS 5, Dual Battery Options

The VOYAH Passion S has appeared in prototype form as a mid-to-large-size coupe SUV, measuring 5050 × 1998 × 1656 mm with a 3000-mm wheelbase. Its rear end adopts a fastback silhouette, complete with a rear spoiler and 21-inch wheels. For ADAS, high-trim versions will feature four LiDAR sensors — including Huawei's 896-line model — paired with Huawei's Qwen ADS 5 system. Two battery options are offered: 81.6 kWh and 98.1 kWh, both powering pure-electric drivetrains.

Arcfox Alpha T7: 3040-mm Wheelbase, Dual BEV & Extended-Range Powertrains

The Arcfox Alpha T7 has also completed MIIT registration, with dimensions of 5020 × 1996 × 1685 mm and a class-leading 3040-mm wheelbase — the longest among these five models. Its front fascia retains the brand's signature closed grille and full-width light bar, while providing mounting points for multiple ADAS sensors. Powertrain options span both BEV and extended-range variants: the latter uses a 1.5L engine rated at 77 kW, though electric motor specs and battery capacity remain undisclosed.

Changan Nevo Q06 and Xpeng MONA L05: 800V Architecture and Dual Powertrain Paths

The Changan Nevo Q06 is scheduled for launch in September 2026, measuring 4837 × 1970 × 1670 mm with a 2940-mm wheelbase. Built on an 800V silicon-carbide high-voltage platform, it supports 6C ultra-fast charging and uses LFP batteries. It offers both single- and dual-motor BEV variants, plus the TianShu intelligent driving system. The Xpeng MONA L05 likewise pursues dual BEV and extended-range paths, measuring 4870 × 1930 × 1636 mm with a 2940-mm wheelbase. Its extended-range version also employs a 1.5L engine — but key parameters — including motor output and battery capacity — remain unrevealed.

Notably, all five models fall squarely within the new-energy category, and every wheelbase reaches or exceeds 2940 mm — underscoring the convergence of spacious mid-to-large proportions and coupe styling. Driven by dual forces of electrification and intelligence, coupe SUVs are shifting from 'design experimentation' to 'technology implementation'.
