On July 6, 2026, Great Wall Auto officially launched nationwide pre-orders for the all-new upgraded TANK 300 — the TANK 300 L. The Hi4-T variant carries a pre-order price of RMB 259,800, while the Hi4-Z variant is priced at RMB 269,800; both models are set for official market launch on July 19. The vehicle made its debut earlier this month, marking a pivotal step forward for the Tank series in integrating rugged off-road capability with intelligent new-energy technology.

Extended Platform + Full-Series Refresh: Off-Road DNA Evolved
According to official information from Great Wall Auto, the TANK 300 L features 553 optimization upgrades, with over half of its core components fully refreshed. The most notable change is the wheelbase extension to 3,010 mm, while the front overhang is shortened to 774 mm and the L113 (distance from front axle center to driver's pedal) increased to 923 mm. Overall dimensions reach 4,886 × 1,984 × 1,927 mm. Off-road capability is further enhanced: approach angle 38°, departure angle 33°, breakover angle 19°, ground clearance 235 mm, and maximum wading depth 800 mm.
The exterior retains its boxy, rugged styling, featuring a blacked-out "TANK" grille and refined round headlights integrated with turn signals. The body includes 40 mounting points for aftermarket accessories — including winches, auxiliary lights, and roof racks — enabling flexible off-road customization.
Intelligent Cockpit Deeply Integrated with Off-Road Functionality

The cabin features a 12.3-inch full-digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen, powered by Coffee OS 3 intelligent cockpit system — with Coffee GPT voice interaction and multimodal connectivity. For outdoor use, the vehicle comes preloaded with navigation for over 4,000 professional off-road routes, an in-car radio, portable oxygen generator, and satellite communication module.
The front seats offer 12-way power adjustment for the driver and 10-way for the front passenger, with heating, ventilation, memory, and 8-point massage functions. The rear seatback angle adjusts continuously between 25° and 33.7°.
Dual Hybrid Architectures Deliver Distinct Performance Profiles

The vehicle is equipped with 27 perception sensors — including one LiDAR — supporting full-scenario NOA navigation-assisted driving and Sentry Mode; optional Coffee Night Vision 2.0 night vision system is also available.
Under the hood, both variants share a 2.0T engine (max output 180 kW), but differ significantly in electric drive configuration:
- Hi4-T variant: 2.0T + 130 kW front motor; battery capacity 37.1 kWh; CLTC all-electric range 105 km; combined range 913 km; 0–100 km/h acceleration in 6.1 seconds; electronically controlled part-time four-wheel drive;
- Hi4-Z variant: 2.0T + 180 kW front motor + 200 kW rear motor; battery capacity 59.6 kWh; CLTC all-electric range 200 km; combined range 1,122 km; 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds; electric four-wheel drive.
