Lynk & Co 02 Refresh Unveiled: 16-in-1 Electric Drive + 800V Fast Charging, Interior Upgraded with Purple Theme

The latest refreshed Lynk & Co 02 has recently revealed its interior design. The model features Lynk & Co's in-house developed 16-in-1 electric drive system and will enter the Chinese market under the new name 'Lynk & Co 02 Pro'. This update is no mere facelift — it represents a deep iteration focused on electrification and intelligence. While an official launch date remains unannounced, the vehicle is confirmed to debut domestically this year.

The cabin adopts a white-and-purple two-tone scheme accented with gold trim, staying true to Lynk & Co's youthful brand positioning. The steering wheel and central touchscreen retain their current designs, but the instrument panel now integrates larger air vents. The center console houses a 50W active-cooled wireless charging pad, a row of physical function buttons, and dual cup holders. Notably, door pull handles have reverted from electronic push-button to traditional mechanical units — complying with China's latest whole-vehicle safety standards.

The audio system upgrades to the Lynk Sound acoustic platform. Door-mounted speakers feature gold speaker grilles with ambient lighting, and additional tweeters are embedded in the driver's headrest. Details include purple seatbelts, a panoramic sunroof, and a voice assistant's virtual avatar displayed atop the central infotainment screen — an interface reportedly inspired by Nio's Nomi, though official details on functionality remain undisclosed. Other features include a roof-mounted hazard light switch, slim-profile LCD digital instrument cluster, head-up display (HUD), and driver-monitoring cameras integrated into the A-pillars.

Powertrain-wise, the vehicle adopts a rear-motor layout powered by the 16-in-1 electric drive system, delivering peak output of 245 kW (329 hp) and motor efficiency up to 93%. Leveraging the 800V high-voltage architecture, it supports 6C ultra-fast charging — recharging from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. Its CLTC all-electric range spans 545–630 km, with exact figures likely dependent on undisclosed parameters such as battery capacity and curb weight.

Dimensions measure 4495 × 1845 × 1573 mm, with a 2755 mm wheelbase and a drag coefficient as low as 0.25 Cd. An optional sport-style roof spoiler is available — but primarily for visual enhancement. The 0–100 km/h sprint takes 6.4 seconds, positioning the car squarely as a mainstream compact BEV crossover rather than a performance-oriented model.

According to China EV DataTracker, since its December 2024 debut, the Lynk & Co 02 has delivered 49,356 units domestically. Current retail pricing ranges from ¥104,900 to ¥142,900. Whether the refreshed 'Lynk & Co 02 Pro' will maintain this pricing strategy remains unconfirmed by official sources.
