Global H9 SUV Debuts Officially Modified Variant with Enhanced Off-Road Capability and Smart Cockpit Features

Great Wall Motors Auto has officially launched the Haval H9 Li Hun Edition in the domestic market — an official, deeply modified variant of the H9 lineup. As a mid-to-large-size rugged SUV already sold globally, the H9 Li Hun Edition embraces 'Wilderness Functional Aesthetics', delivering systematic upgrades across exterior design, intelligent cockpit, off-road performance, and cabin quietness.

According to official information, the H9 Li Hun Edition's recommended retail price ranges from ¥239,900 to ¥257,900; during its limited-time promotion, pricing is adjusted to ¥214,900–¥232,900. Concurrently, the entire Haval H9 lineup's limited-time starting price drops to ¥174,900, further strengthening its price competitiveness in the mid-to-large rugged SUV segment.

Exterior updates include a new matrix-style front grille, 'Light Blade' LED daytime running lights, and an armored-engine hood featuring dual raised creases. Standard equipment comprises 18-inch 'Armor Blade' alloy wheels and 265/65 R18 all-terrain tires — underscoring the seamless fusion of rugged capability and functional design language.

The interior features a 'Lava Red' theme, with extensive soft-touch materials throughout. The intelligent cockpit runs Coffee OS 3 and includes a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen integrated with the Coffee GPT large language model — supporting quad-zone voice recognition and everyday information queries. It also supports mainstream smartphone connectivity protocols including Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and ICCOA Carlink.

Front seats offer 8-way power adjustment, 4-way lumbar support, memory, ventilation, heating, and professional 8-point massage functions. Both the windshield and front door windows use double-laminated acoustic glass to significantly improve NVH performance.

In terms of dimensions, the H9 Li Hun Edition stands 1,960 mm tall and 1,976 mm wide, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Second-row maximum shoulder room measures 1,568 mm; standard cargo volume is 791 L, expanding to 1,814 L with rear seats folded.

Two powertrain options are available: a 2.0T gasoline engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission; and a 2.4T diesel engine mated to a 9-speed automatic (featuring a standard silicone-oil fan for stable cooling under extreme conditions). All variants come standard with nine drive modes, Tank turn-in assist, low-speed off-road cruise control, and a 540° panoramic imaging system — plus a full 'triple-lock' setup: front/rear differential locks and an Mlock mechanical center lock.

Approach, departure, and breakover angles measure 32°, 26°, and 25° respectively, with ground clearance at 236 mm and wading depth up to 800 mm. With optional factory-fitted professional snorkel, air intake height increases to 1,794 mm. The vehicle is certified for trailer towing up to 2.5 tonnes.
