STELATOV8 to Debut at 2026 Chengdu Auto Show! Mid-to-Upper-Size MPV Unveils Dual Powertrains

On August 19, ahead of the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show opening, media captured images of the production-ready STELATOV8 inside the exhibition hall. Though shrouded in black cloth, its elongated silhouette and signature design language remain clearly discernible. The vehicle is set to make its official global debut at this year's show. Positioned as a mid-to-upper-size MPV, its overall dimensions closely match those of the LuxceedV9 — marking Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance's first-ever MPV offering.

Exterior styling features a steeply raked windshield and A-pillar triangular window, enhancing cabin transparency. The front fascia adopts a split-headlight layout with a full-width DRL strip embedded with 'starry-sky' texture; the lower bumper includes provisioned air intakes. A roof-mounted LiDAR sensor comes standard — continuing Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance's strategy of pre-installing high-end intelligent driving hardware.

Dimensions measure 5,335 mm (L) × 2,005 mm (W) × 1,805 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm and 19-inch wheels. The rear end mirrors the front with a full-width taillight assembly, maintaining consistent lighting texture and design language — while delivering a distinct evolutionary direction compared to the LuxceedV9.

Inside, the new model retains Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance's family-oriented triple-screen layout. All physical buttons on the center console have been eliminated; the steering wheel integrates rotary dials and tactile buttons for intuitive interaction. The central console houses only a wireless charging pad and cup holders. A head-up display (HUD) is standard across all trims, and the intelligent interface is deeply customized based on HarmonyOS.

Powertrain options include both battery electric and extended-range variants. The single-motor configuration delivers a peak motor output of 227 kW. The dual-motor setup pairs a 160-kW front motor with a 227-kW rear motor. The extended-range version uses a 1.5T range extender engine (118 kW max power) paired with either a 56-kWh or 75.4-kWh battery pack — yielding CLTC all-electric ranges of 275 km, 260 km, and 339 km respectively. The BEV version mounts a 120-kWh battery pack, achieving CLTC ranges of 775 km and 830 km.
