Lucid Unveils 2027 Air EV Lineup with New Stealth Package

Full lineup retains 2026 pricing; Air Grand Touring remains world's longest-range production EV

U.S.-based premium EV manufacturer Lucid Motors has officially announced its 2027 Air all-electric sedan lineup. This update introduces no changes to powertrains or body structure; the core enhancements focus on streamlined configuration logic and a new exclusive option package — the 'Stealth & Sound' package, available for the entry-level Air Pure model.

Configuration Simplification, Focused on Core Experience

According to official information, the 2027 Air series adopts a significantly simplified configuration strategy — especially for the Air Pure model — which sees a major reduction in the previous 'à la carte' option menu. Instead, mainstream feature combinations are now offered in more integrated bundles. The newly launched Stealth & Sound package is priced at $6,250 and bundles the most popular exterior and acoustic upgrades: buyers may choose either the 19-inch Aero Range Stealth or 20-inch Aero Lite Stealth wheels, paired with one of three metallic paint finishes — Infinite Black Metallic, Stellar White Metallic, or Quantum Grey Metallic.

No Price Increases Across the Board, Defying Industry Trends

Notably, all four 2027 Air models retain their original 2026 launch prices in both U.S. and Canadian markets: the Air Pure starts at $70,900 (CAD $99,900), the Touring at $79,900 (CAD $112,800), the Grand Touring at $114,900 (CAD $161,200), and the flagship Sapphire remains at $249,000 (CAD $327,300). This pricing stability stands out amid industry-wide pressures — including rising import tariffs and the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit in late September 2025.

Longest-Range Title Remains Unchallenged

The Air Grand Touring continues to hold the title of world's longest-range production electric sedan, with an EPA-certified maximum range of 512 miles (~824 km). This figure is not only lab-verified but was further validated earlier this year under Norway's rigorous winter real-world testing conditions — reinforcing its energy efficiency in demanding environments. Public reports also indicate that the Air surpassed TeslaModel S in 2025 to become the best-selling luxury all-electric sedan in the U.S.

That said, Lucid's current strategic priority has clearly shifted toward its mid-to-large-size all-electric SUV, the Gravity — explaining why the 2027 Air sees virtually no mechanical updates. This refresh is fundamentally a user-experience and sales-efficiency optimization of the configuration system — not a technological generational upgrade.
