Citroen C5 AIRCROSS Émeraude Edition Official Images Released: Emerald Blue Paint + Exclusive Trim

Recently, Citroen officially unveiled the official images of the C5 AIRCROSS Émeraude Edition. This special edition centers on a new Emerald Blue metallic paint as its core visual identity, complemented by multiple exclusive custom exterior trims and themed interior details. Built upon the existing C5 AIRCROSS PLUS, it injects strong individuality — aiming to refresh the model, which has been on sale overseas for nearly a year. The vehicle made its debut at the Brittany Economic Forum in France, and is scheduled to launch overseas in October 2026.

Exterior updates are led by the exclusive Emerald Blue metallic paint — deep in tone and rich in luster. Matching-color decorative inserts are integrated into the front bumper and front door sills; aerodynamic rear fender accents feature French flag motifs and are engraved with the 'Émeraude' badge. In addition to Emerald Blue, this edition is also available in Pearl Black, Platinum Grey, Okanite White, and Astoria Green. The front-end silhouette remains unchanged from the current model, but the upper section of the central split air intake is now sealed to enhance frontal cohesion; slim LED light strips on either side rise slightly upward, boosting both recognition and presence. Dimensions remain at 4650/1970/1650 mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2780 mm; a blacked-out roof, hidden A/B/C pillars, two-tone low-drag alloy wheels, and black wheel arches collectively deliver a light, dynamic stance.

The rear design retains the current styling language: bold, three-dimensional taillights and horizontal lines create layered depth; the rear bumper echoes the front's sporty character. The interior builds upon the C5 AIRCROSS PLUS platform, adopting an emerald-themed color scheme: the 13-inch vertical touchscreen, front seat labels, fabric-embossed passenger-side center console trim, and bespoke floor mats all incorporate Emerald Blue accents; ambient lighting also supports matching-color adjustment. Comfort features receive further upgrades, including power-adjustable seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, second-row armrests, wireless smartphone charging, and a hands-free power tailgate.

In terms of intelligent assistance, the vehicle offers adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, speed-limit information, and blind-spot monitoring. Its chassis features Citroen's Advanced Comfort suspension system, equipped with progressive hydraulic bump stops for significantly improved ride comfort. Powertrain options carry over from the current PLUS lineup: a 1.2T three-cylinder engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, plus a fully electric variant. The 1.2T mild-hybrid delivers a maximum output of 145 hp, while the EV version produces 210 hp and offers a WLTC all-electric range of 322 miles (~518 km).
