At the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, the Changan CS55PLUSLanjing Chaojing Hybrid made its public debut. The model was previously officially launched with four trim levels priced from ¥98,900 to ¥117,900; during the show, it's offered at a limited-time range of ¥79,900–¥103,900. Developed by Changan Automobile on the iDE-H deep-electrified intelligent hybrid architecture, this compact SUV is positioned as an efficient transitional solution bridging conventional fuel and BEV technologies.

Exterior styling adopts the all-new 'Jiangyun Die Lang' (Rippling Yangtze Aesthetics) borderless front grille, featuring a V-shaped decorative motif that visually echoes the Changan brand logo. Star-ring daytime running lights significantly enhance frontal recognition. The side profile retains the current 'ZonghengWanxiang' design language, complemented by newly designed low-drag five-spoke wheels and chrome window trim. Dimensions measure 4,550 × 1,868 × 1,675 mm (L×W×H), with a 2,656 mm wheelbase — identical to the gasoline-powered variant. The rear employs a full-width taillight, dual exhaust outlets, and a roof-mounted spoiler to reinforce sportiness and family design coherence.
The interior continues the wraparound cockpit layout, standard-equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch star-ring smart-link central touchscreen. It supports CarPlay, Carlink, HiCar, and Honor Connect; integrates an AI voice large language model, dual navigation via Gaode and Baidu Maps, 50W wireless fast charging, and scenario-based Beijing X6 intelligent interaction functions. Seats feature Nappa-textured leather, with three-level ventilation and heating for both driver and front passenger; the front passenger seat adds eight-point massage and an adjustable leg rest — delivering a true 'Queen Seat' experience. The vehicle offers 23 storage compartments, with a standard trunk capacity of 475 L, expandable to 1,415 L with rear seats folded.
For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with the TianShu Navigation Assistance System, offering features including full-speed adaptive cruise control, automated lane change assistance, forward/rear collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
The powertrain represents the core upgrade: a proprietary Changan 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor in a hybrid system. The engine delivers peak power of 110 kW, matched with an 180 kW high-flux, high-power hybrid drive unit and 500-bar ultra-high-pressure direct injection. Combined with the AI Cloud Smart Control algorithm, WLTC combined fuel consumption is just 4.68 L/100 km — dropping to 3.89 L/100 km in urban conditions. Both full-tank range and total hybrid range reach 1,500 km.
