On August 18, Changan Auto officially launched the CS55 PLUS BlueCore Hybrid. The model is offered in four trims, with official manufacturer suggested retail prices ranging from ¥98,900 to ¥117,900; limited-time promotional pricing starts at ¥79,900 and goes up to ¥103,900. As Changan's latest entry into the oil-electric hybrid compact SUV segment, this vehicle avoids both pure EV and plug-in hybrid routes — instead adopting a deeply electrified intelligent hybrid architecture designed for high-efficiency, anxiety-free energy-saving mobility.

Exterior styling features the all-new "Jiangyun Die Lang" (Rippling Yangtze Aesthetic) borderless front grille, forming an overall V-shaped decorative structure that visually echoes Changan's brand logo. Star-ring daytime running lights enhance front-end recognition. The side profile retains the design language of the current Zongheng Wanxiang models, equipped with newly designed low-drag five-spoke wheels and chrome window trim. Dimensions are 4,550 mm (L) × 1,868 mm (W) × 1,675 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 2,656 mm — identical to the gasoline-powered version.
