Recently, new spy shots and specification details for the BYD Seagull 2026 model have surfaced. As BYD's entry-level pure electric model for global markets, the vehicle has enjoyed sustained sales success since its 2023 launch — and this annual refresh is expected to further strengthen its competitiveness in the A0-segment EV market.

According to multiple sources, the 2026 Seagull will retain the current design language while introducing subtle refinements — including minor tweaks to the front headlight cluster, new exterior color options, and more sophisticated wheel designs. Inside, the cabin is expected to maintain its minimalist aesthetic, though the central infotainment display may see a slight size increase. The infotainment system is rumored to run a new version of BYD's DiLink 5.0, offering enhanced voice interaction and broader ecosystem app support.

Under the hood, the new model is expected to offer two motor options: maximum outputs of 58 kW and 85 kW, with peak torques of 130 N·m and 150 N·m respectively.
