Audi's midsize all-electric SUV — the 2027 Q6 e-tron — delivers real-world range exceeding its official EPA rating. According to EV range test results published by U.S. automotive authority Edmunds, the vehicle achieved an actual single-charge range of 337 miles (approximately 542 km), outperforming its EPA-rated 301 miles by roughly 12%.

This test followed Edmunds' standardized EV range evaluation protocol: 60% city driving and 40% highway driving, with an average speed of 40 mph (≈64 km/h). Vehicle speed was strictly maintained within ±5 mph throughout the test; climate control was set to automatic mode at 22°C, and the most energy-efficient driving mode was enabled. This methodology aims to mirror typical daily commuting conditions and reflect true energy consumption.

Beyond range, the 2027 Q6 e-tron also delivers notable gains in energy efficiency. Its measured energy consumption stands at 29.3 kWh per 100 miles — about 16% lower than the EPA's rated 35 kWh — validating improvements to its powertrain and regenerative braking strategy. The model reportedly features refined regenerative braking logic for the 2027 model year, a partial return to physical controls, and a new infotainment system.

Among luxury all-electric SUVs already tested by Edmunds, the Q6 e-tron's 337-mile result ranks near the top. It trails only the 2026 BMW iX xDrive (338 miles) and Cadillac Optiq (339 miles), but clearly surpasses the 2025 PorscheMacan 4S (323 miles) and Macan Turbo (301 miles). Notably, the Q6 e-tron starts at $64,500 — significantly undercutting the Macan 4S ($89,900) and Macan Turbo ($84,600).

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,770 mm long, 1,936 mm wide, and 1,699 mm tall, with a 2,888-mm wheelbase — comparable in overall footprint to the BMW iX3 and the electric versions of the PorscheMacan. The model has not yet been officially launched in the Chinese market; all specifications and configurations cited here are based on overseas real-world test data.
