The new IM LS6 will open pre-orders on September 10, 2026, becoming the second model — after the updated L6 — to adopt IM's 'NEXT·2028' strategic technology. Positioned as a mid-to-large-size pure-electric SUV in the ¥200,000 segment, the vehicle will feature the all-new NEO electric powertrain architecture, full-line control chassis, and IM Claw Intelligent Agent — the three core technologies.

Official images show the exterior retains the current design language: frameless doors, concealed door handles, Falcon Smart Lighting 2.0, and dual five-spoke wheels are all carried over; the front-facing roof-mounted LiDAR appears larger — possibly upgraded to enhance intelligent driving perception. Inside, the vehicle will be equipped with a premium Danish B&O audio system and 4D mechanical massage seats — featuring mechanical massage nodes instead of conventional airbag-based systems. Official specifications — including power output, battery capacity, CLTC all-electric range, and detailed trim configurations — have not yet been released. The current LS6 offers both pure-electric and extended-range variants: the BEV version includes single-motor RWD (245 kW / 300 kW) and dual-motor AWD (system combined output: 500 kW), with a maximum CLTC range of up to 802 km; the EREV version features a 1.5T range extender and a rear-drive motor delivering up to 230 kW, offering CLTC pure-electric ranges of 370 km or 450 km.
