Lucid Unveils Gravity GT-S: Most Powerful Three-Row SUV Made in the U.S., 1,070 HP Total Output

On August 15 local time, Lucid Motors officially unveiled the new high-performance Gravity GT-S at the Monterey Car Week, touting it as the 'most powerful three-row SUV made in the U.S.'

Based on the same dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain as the previously launched Gravity Dream Edition, the GT-S delivers a combined peak output of 1,070 hp. Official figures state a 0–60 mph (approx. 0–96 km/h) acceleration time of just 3.1 seconds — significantly quicker than rivals in its class.

To enhance dynamic performance, the Gravity GT-S comes standard with the Lucid Dynamic Handling Package, featuring rear-wheel steering and an adaptive triple-chamber air suspension. The latter automatically lowers the vehicle's ride height at highway speeds to improve handling stability and aerodynamic efficiency.

Exterior styling includes GT-S–exclusive elements such as blue exterior accents and blue-painted brake calipers. Inside, the cabin features Majave PurLuxe Premium material, with blue stitching applied across front and second-row seats, seatbelts, steering wheel, door armrests, and center console armrest. Front-seat headrests and seat cushions are embossed with the Lucid Bear logo. Buyers may optionally upgrade to Tahoe Leather for an additional $1,300.

The new model will begin deliveries in the U.S. in Q4 2026, starting at $125,900 (plus a $1,850 delivery fee) — $27,000 more than the Grand Touring trim ($98,900). Standard paint is Abyss Black paired with the Stealth Appearance package; upgrading to Stellar White Metallic, Quantum Grey Metallic, or Supernova Bronze Metallic adds $1,000. A five-seat configuration is standard; the seven-seat option costs an extra $2,900. The Technology Package, Comfort and Convenience Package, and Surreal Sound Pro audio system are all standard across the lineup.

Notably, Lucid has explicitly confirmed that the Gravity GT-S will be 'available exclusively in the U.S. market,' with no plans announced for Europe or other overseas markets.

Despite its premium pricing, the GT-S remains roughly $42,000 less expensive than the 2026 Cadillac Escalade-V (starting at $168,000). The latter produces 682 hp and achieves 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds — falling short of the GT-S across all key performance metrics.
