Galaxy Cruiser 700 to Debut on July 24: Tri-motor AWD, 830 kW, Rugged Box-style SUV

Geely Galaxy's all-new mid-to-large-size rugged SUV — the Galaxy Cruiser 700 — will make its global debut on July 24.

The vehicle adopts a bold, boxy design language: a narrow horizontal front grille pairs with large outer-square-inner-round headlights; the hood features flat air vents and raised character lines. The front bumper includes orange accent trim and a front tow hook, while the roof reserves a mounting position for a rooftop-mounted LiDAR unit. Dimensions measure 5085 × 1999 × 1895 (1912, 1925) mm, with a 2900-mm wheelbase. Approach and departure angles are 30° and 31° respectively, and ground clearance stands at 233 mm. The rear features a side-opening tailgate plus an externally mounted spare tire.

The interior includes a two-tone three-spoke steering wheel, a floating central touchscreen, and an aircraft-style gear shifter — alongside retained physical buttons. All trims offer a premium five-seat layout. Door panels feature diamond-quilted luxury leather, and speaker grilles are adorned with mountain-peak motifs. Powertrain options include plug-in hybrid systems built around either a 2.0T or 1.5T engine: the 2.0T delivers up to 160 kW, while the 1.5T outputs 120 kW. All variants come standard with a tri-motor AWD PHEV system and differential locks, delivering a combined output of 830 kW. A 47.14 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery is fitted, offering CLTC all-electric ranges of 165 km, 170 km, or 185 km.
