Denza N9 Rolls Out V1.8.0 OTA Update, Enhancing Intelligent Driving and Cockpit Experience Across 8 Dimensions

8th OTA Update Live: Adds Navigation Report, Customizable HUD, New Drone Features, and More

Recently, DENZA officially rolled out the V1.8.0 OTA update for Denza N9 (excluding Flash Charging variants). This marks the eighth OTA iteration since the model's launch, focusing on four key areas: intelligent driving assistance, smart cockpit interaction, daily usability enhancements, and in-vehicle drone functionality — delivering a total of eight core feature upgrades and new experiences.

In intelligent driving assistance, the update introduces a new 'Driving Assistance Report' feature, which comprehensively logs key data from Navigate-on-Pilot (NOP) sessions and enables two-way synchronization between the vehicle infotainment system and smartphone app — allowing users to review trips anytime. The HUD now supports customizable navigation arrow styles, with multiple visual themes — including Refine and Lingdie — to choose from. The panoramic imaging interface integrates one-tap controls for folding/unfolding side mirrors directly within the view, eliminating the need to exit the screen during narrow-road maneuvers and reducing the risk of scraping. Additionally, overall stability and response speed of the Navigate-on-Pilot system have been improved, and parking assistance settings have been consolidated into the System Settings menu for clearer, more intuitive operation.

For cockpit interaction, V1.8.0 adds multiple real-time audio effects for microphone-free karaoke — including reverb and vocal enhancement — with instant switching. When activating the voice assistant, the digital avatar 'Xiao Shi' delivers dynamic visual feedback, adding warmth and personality to interactions. The DiLink smart cockpit UI has undergone a full animation and layout overhaul, resulting in smoother, more responsive operation; during phone calls, a new 'Navigation Voice Alert Toggle' lets users manually disable turn-by-turn prompts — balancing privacy and practicality.

Daily usability sees notable improvements too: Sentry Mode now supports scheduled activation/deactivation windows for optimized security and energy efficiency; the Parking Assistant adds proactive order reminders — automatically identifying parking space info upon entry and enabling one-tap settlement upon departure; navigation's 'along-the-way search' now displays detour time and distance alongside results; charging station search highlights nearby Flash Charging stations and supports filtering; third-row seat一-fold now includes voice prompts confirming occupancy status; driver/passenger welcome-reposition logic has been refined; side door radar gains a forced-sleep option; and HUD display behavior in Park mode (P-gear) has also been fine-tuned.

For the in-vehicle drone equipped on Denza N9, this OTA brings several new capabilities: 'Mid-Air Switch to Off-Vehicle Mode' allows seamless one-tap transition while airborne; 'Manual Hatch Open/Close Mode' enables manual drone loading/unloading; 'Aerial Panorama Capture' and 'Periscope Mode' are now live — supporting low-altitude hovering shots; and drone-follow logic, video rendering speed, and local media storage management have all received experience upgrades.
