The all-new midsize extended-range SUV — iCaur V25 (domestically registered as iCar V25), launched under Chery's iCAR brand — has been listed in the 385th batch of MIIT's Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products, effective July 10, 2026. This filing marks the vehicle's formal entry into production-readiness, though its launch timing and pricing remain unannounced — it is currently still in the spy-shot preview phase.

According to the filing, the iCaur V25 adopts a rugged, boxy design language. Its dimensions are 4,636 mm (L) × 1,920 mm (W) × 1,855 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm — positioning it above existing iCAR models. A short front overhang (736 mm) and optimized front suspension layout aim to improve approach angle (28°) and ground clearance. With optional trailer-towing equipment installed, departure angle drops from 24° to 15°, curb weight increases from 2,221 kg to 2,240 kg, and the vehicle achieves a maximum towing capacity of 1,800 kg.

In terms of powertrain, the SUV mounts the SQRH4J15 1.5T range extender engine, rated at 115 kW gross output and 105 kW net power.
