Chery Chengdu Auto Show Lineup Revealed: Fulwin A9L Sport Edition Debuts, Multiple Box-Style SUVs Unveiled

As the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show approaches, the Chery Group has officially unveiled its exhibition lineup. Five brands — Chery, iCAR, Zongheng, EXEED, and Jetour — will collectively appear, with multiple all-new box-style SUVs drawing strong attention: the Fulwin A9L Sport Edition makes its world debut; the iCAR V25 and EXEED EX6 debut globally and domestically, respectively; the Jetour Traveller series opens blind reservations; the all-new all-electric box-style SUV Huan You Zhe debuts; and official images of the Traveler 7 are also released.

The highly anticipated 2027 Chery Fulwin A9L has already launched, with a limited-time red envelope price of ¥139,900–¥197,900. The upcoming Fulwin A9L Sport Edition features an exclusive sport package, with 14 body components customized in styling and color — including ventilated, drilled brake discs with FNC coating — plus a full-body blacked-out aesthetic and sport body kit to enhance its dynamic appeal.

The iCAR V25 retains the rugged box-style design language of the Super V23 but sees comprehensive dimensional upgrades: 4,636 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, 1,855 mm in height, and a 2,820 mm wheelbase. Positioned as a midsize SUV with five-seat layout, it offers optional LiDAR and is equipped with the Falcon intelligent driving assistance system for urban ADAS. Its powertrain adopts a 1.5T range-extended architecture, delivering CLTC all-electric ranges of 145 km and 150 km.

The EXEED EX6 is also a midsize, five-seat SUV featuring an all-new design language, with roof-mounted LiDAR expected to support urban ADAS functionality. Its powertrain will be a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system.

The Jetour Traveller series recently launched the Traveler 8. Though the brand hasn't specified which model is open for blind reservation, the Traveler 8 is confirmed to feature the next-generation XWD fully automatic intelligent AWD system, AI-powered intelligent terrain recognition, a CLTC all-electric range of 300 km, a combined range exceeding 1,300 km, plus LiDAR and off-road NOA navigation assistance. Meanwhile, official images of the Traveler 7 have been released: its front end adopts a new round-headlamp design with further electrification cues, while the rear retains the current generation's styling. Its powertrain combines a 1.5T turbocharged engine with an electric motor.

As the first all-electric box-style SUV in the Traveler series, the Jetour Huan You Zhe is positioned as a compact SUV, measuring 4,475 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, 1,700 mm in height, and featuring a 2,735 mm wheelbase. It adopts a sporty round-headlamp design. Its cabin integrates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 chip-based cockpit platform, and its intelligent driving system is Falcon 500. Equipped with the XWD AWD system, its total system output reaches 275 kW, with a CLTC range exceeding 500 km.
