Recently, the latest batch of new vehicle registration information released by MIIT officially unveiled the 2026 Buick Regal. Notably, the registration documents do not disclose specific details such as screen size, resolution, or chip model — only confirming its floating-mount layout. Compared to the current 30-inch curved 6K display powered by Qualcomm's SA8155 chip and supporting eConnect connectivity, the new display adopts a more mainstream form factor, though the extent of functional upgrades remains to be officially confirmed.
Under the hood, the vehicle continues with the LVR 2.0T turbocharged gasoline engine, delivering peak output of 174 kW (≈237 hp). Torque figures are not specified in the filing. Under WLTC conditions, combined fuel consumption stands at 7.47 L/100 km for the 1,570-kg variant and 7.61 L/100 km for the 1,600-kg version. The registration confirms the car remains a conventional internal-combustion vehicle — no hybrid or electric powertrain variants are indicated.
