Land Rover Discovery Landmark Official Images Released: Tasman Blue Exclusive Color + Three-Tier Model Lineup Finalized

2026 Discovery Full-Range Upgrade: New Landmark Trim Strengthens Mid-Tier Positioning

Recently, Land Rover officially released the official images of the 2026 Land Rover Discovery Landmark trim and completed a comprehensive optimization of its full model lineup. Following this update, the Land Rover Discovery now features a three-model lineup — comprising the Discovery S, Landmark, and Tempest trims — strategically covering entry-level family use, mid-tier all-rounder, and top-tier luxury segments.

The most distinctive visual signature of the Landmark trim is its debut Tasman Blue metallic paint — a hue inspired by the iconic Aqua Blue of the original 1989 Discovery. Exclusively to the Landmark, this color honors the Discovery lineage's design DNA. Exterior details have been refined across the board: the grille, fender vents, and front/rear DISCOVERY lettering all feature graphite-gray Atlas-exclusive accents; front and rear lower bumper claddings are finished in Carpathian Grey; and the vehicle comes standard with 21-inch matte onyx gray alloy wheels — further elevating its bespoke character.

Landmark branding is seamlessly integrated throughout: circular B-pillar emblems, illuminated welcome treadplates, and projection lighting all incorporate mountain motifs and the 'Landmark' logo — echoing classic Discovery design language and reinforcing owner identity.

Inside, the Landmark emphasizes light-luxury ambiance: the dashboard and door panels feature extensive Tech Velour premium suede, paired with dark-gray brushed aluminum trim — each panel subtly embossed with the Landmark logo. Standard equipment includes a sliding panoramic sunroof, a center-console vehicle refrigerator, and multiple hidden storage compartments — balancing everyday family practicality with refined sophistication.

The flagship Tempest trim introduces Bolasko Gray paint, complemented by classic Vale Silver Blue and Capri Gray options, with matte protective film applied across the entire body. Roof rails, fender accents, body badging, and 22-inch wheels all feature Petra Copper contrast highlights. Interior upgrades include new Light Oyster and Cavanough seat colorways, upholstered in extended Windsor leather (black or Light Oyster) with contrasting stitching — and Tempest-specific logos appear at multiple touchpoints.

The entry-level Discovery S focuses on practicality: dual-tone black and Light Oyster composite leather seats, wireless smartphone charging, nine USB ports, and a high-capacity central storage bin — ideal for daily commuting and short getaways.

In terms of safety, the 2026 Discovery is the first generation to feature a standard Driver Attention Monitoring system. Using a forward-facing camera, it detects signs of fatigue or distraction in real time and allows users to enable/disable the function and adjust sensitivity via the infotainment menu — subject to regional regulatory requirements.

Off-road capability remains uncompromised: all models come standard with the second-generation Terrain Response system, All-Terrain Progress Control, a maximum wading depth of 900 mm, and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 kg — enhanced by an advanced trailer assist system to meet both adventure and heavy-duty towing needs.

To broaden family-use versatility, Land Rover offers five customizable accessory kits — tailored for pet travel, cycling adventures, beach holidays, long-distance road trips, and snow sports. From foldable pet carriers and roof-mounted bike racks to ski crossbars and snow traction assistance systems, every scenario is covered.

Under the hood, the 2026 Land Rover Discovery retains its inline-six engine across all variants, now paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system to improve smoothness and fuel efficiency. Regional markets receive one of three powertrain options: D249 and D350 diesel, or P360 gasoline — all equipped with standard four-wheel drive and automatic transmission.
