奇瑞联合捷豹路虎发布Freelander 8，预售价33.99万元起

Chery Automobile and Jaguar Land Rover's new mid-to-large SUV, the Freelander 8, recently officially opened for pre-sales in China. The vehicle offers five trim levels, with the entry-level "large five-seater" version starting at RMB 339,900 (approximately US$50,000), the top-of-the-line First Edition limited edition priced at RMB 459,900 (US$67,600), and a limited-time offer of RMB 449,900 (US$66,200).

According to official disclosures, the remaining configurations are priced as follows: Max+ version 429,900 yuan, Max version 379,900 yuan, and Pro version 349,900 yuan. It's worth noting that all models are built on an 800V high-voltage range-extending platform and equipped with CATL Freevoy ternary lithium batteries with a capacity of 60.3kWh, providing a pure electric range of 310km. They also support 6C super-fast charging, charging from 20% to 80% in just 12 minutes.

In terms of smart hardware, the Freelander 8 is one of the world's first mass-produced vehicles to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8397 automotive-grade chip, and all models come standard with the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 system. The exterior continues the boxy silhouette of the Concept 97 concept car, featuring a closed front grille and rectangular LED headlights, and offers three exclusive colors developed under the leadership of global design director Phil Simmons: "Hot Lemon Gold," "Silver Gray," and "Twilight Purple."

Inside, the vehicle features a 46.3-inch remote projection screen and a 15.6-inch LED central control screen. Physical buttons utilize a "Parisian nail-pattern" finish, while the dual floating crystal knobs are crafted from K9- grade optical crystal, each containing 144 precision-cut surfaces. The second row features dual zero-gravity seats with integrated heating, ventilation, massage, and leg rest functions, along with folding tables and a car refrigerator. The rear also includes an independent entertainment screen, and the third row features cup holders and adjustable seat angles.

动力系统由1.5T四缸增程器与双电机四驱构成，综合最大功率610kW（818hp），峰值扭矩813N·m，0-100km/h加速仅4.6秒。后桥搭载250kW两挡电机，轮端最大输出扭矩达8,000N·m。车辆还搭载奇瑞与华为联合开发的i-ATS智能全地形系统，配备前、中、后三把电子差速锁，并标配±10°后轮转向，支持“螃蟹行”模式；制动系统采用6活塞固定卡钳与404mm通风盘，百公里刹停最短距离为35.7米。
